I have bound a bunch of employee handbooks and they all came out perfect. I didn't have any "loose sheet" or sheets that didn't bind, like some other customers described. I think what was key to my success was choosing the right sized covers. My employee handbooks are 59 pages, so I chose the 30-60 page cover. I also bound SOP manuals that are 24 pages, so I chose the 15-30 page covers. For example, 8.5x11, 5x7, 5.5x8.5, etc.** A: I would think you could as long as you make sure the smaller sheets are stacked with their edge to be bound so that they are in the binding clamp so they are set into the glue in the binding clamp. I have never seen a bound document done that way. **Q: Description says 2-240 pages. Does that mean there is a variety of covers or they adjust?** A: There are different size covers depending on your project, the two different sizes I get are from 1 to 30 pages and 1 to 60 pages. You can get bigger covers but this is all I need **Q: How many pages can fit in the 1/8-Inch size? Where can I find a chart telling me which sizes fit with number of pages?** A: The thermal Printer that you use has a gauge on the top that suggests how many pages fit in whatever size. I've found that the 1/6" holds 15-sheets and the 1/8" holds about 25-sheets depending on the weight of the paper. **Q: Can you bind chapbooks with this ... such as 7" x8.5"?** A: F you can find the 5" X 7" covers I don't see why the binding machine would not work. I always put an extra glue strip in the coverd before I put them in the machine. Some of thodew coverd do not have enough glue to get a good seal. I have used the machine to repair some small books and it worked well. The glue stripps I use to get all the pages secure come from amazon.
