I was reluctant to buy this item because of some of the negative reviews. However, I took a chance and bought it along with the Apple brand Mag Safe charger. The charger slides into the stand easily but firmly, and my iPhone 15 Pro Max in an Otterbox Mag Safe case holds firmly to the stand while charging. I love that the phone displays the current charge level as soon as the phone is placed in position. The phone can be removed from the stand easily, without disturbing the charger. Some reviews said that the charger came out of the stand along with the phone. Perhaps these reviewers were using an incorrect charger. A bonus is that the stand has a very clean and stylish appearance. I am really happy with this purchase. 3/8/24: Just received my second CreaDream stand and Apple MagSafe charger. If you use this stand WITH the Apple charger, you will have no problem. The charger fits into the stand VERY firmly, and removing the phone absolutely does not pull the charger out of the stand. This is pretty clearly stated in the stand description.

I bought in to MagSafe. I got a MagSafe case and I got a MagSafe charger, and I needed a MagSafe stand, and this is what I chose. — FLAW IN APPLE'S DESIGN — Unfortunately, I immediately saw a flaw in the Apple MagSafe design. Constantly taking the charging base on and off will eventually wear down where the cord and charger meet. To fix this, you have to get a base like this one so you don't have any wear and tear on that specific section. — STAND — This stand fixes that flaw by placing the MagSafe in a position where it can charge your phone, but the cord and base don't get repeated touching because everything is held in place. — CHARGING — So here's the thing with this stand. It works 100% perfectly if your phone does not have a case. It aligns with all models and charges them at an accelerated 15W with a MagSafe charger. However, certain cases that are too thick will run into one of two issues: 1) it won't align properly so it may not charge, or 2) it will have a slight gap and will not charge as optimally as it could. I have a thick Castify case that sticks to this, but I found on many occasions that it did not charge at all overnight. You have to align it perfectly with a thick case. From a design standpoint, to fix this, they need to reduce the size of the metal section outside the silicone area so that this metal part does not bump into the camera with a case on. Reducing this by a few millimeters would fix it for most cases. *** UPDATE *** They increased the silicone layer height and now it's perfectly aligned with no gaps and you get a full charge overnight. However, a new issue arose: you can only take your phone off the stand from the bottom, otherwise, if you try to peel your phone off from the top the silicone of the stand comes off the base. It's a little annoying. Just make sure when you take off your phone, it's from the bottom. — SUMMARY — This is a simple and stylish stand for your MagSafe charger. It works well with all phones and for phones with thick cases. You just have to peel your phone off from the bottom so the silicone doesn't come out. Still recommended.

2024 Update: Unfortunately these do NOT currently work with the 2024 (25W) MagSafe chargers, which Apple has made about 1mm thinner and with a slightly smaller diameter. Those pucks will sit too far back in the stand to make contact with the phone.. Hopefully CreaDream can update these and clearly indicate which MagSafe models they are designed for. Bought 2 and they fit the genuine MagSage pucks perfectly; no issues with them coming loose. They are not heavy/thick pieces of aluminum (to be expected for the price) but look great and the angle is fine. It’s a tight fit with an iPhone 15 Pro in a genuine MagSage case (camera bump is flush to the circular lip) but the phone rests flat and makes 100% contact.

This charger is great and works perfectly as advertised. I’ve been using it for over a year. It sits next to my computer and is angled perfectly to unlock my phone using facial recognition. And when you orient your iPhone to landscape, it turns into an always-on clock. Very cool.

This stand is poorly designed - the metal around the edge interferes with the camera bump on the phone. If you fully push the MagSafe charger into the silicone ring, the metal of the stand grinds up against the metal of the camera bump in either phone orientation. This was the case with the iPhone 13 Pro and now my iPhone 17 Pro. The only way to get this stand to work is to slide the MagSafe charger slightly out of the silicone ring, at which point the attachment feels insecure, it strains the cable on the charger, and removing the phone often takes the charger with it. And this only works with certain low-profile cases. I would look for another, more carefully designed stand.
