whats the thread size on the tool ? I have the texas twist tool as well and need to find the right coupler from injector tool to texas twist 1/2 20

I cut the threaded part off and welded the shaft to a heavier Morgan knocker adapter because the throw was too little to get a good pull on it. The end that grabs the injector worked perfect for the 5.0 Range Rover but it wasn’t heavy enough to break the injector free. A little fab to the tool and it worked great

Will this tool work with 2009 jaguar xf 4.2l?

No. The 4.2L has multi port fuel injectors (located on/near the intake manifold). Once you have the fuel rail off, the injectors just are held in via orings. This tool is only for the 3.0L and 5.0L engines that have direct port fuel injectors (they sit in the cylinder head similar to spark plugs)

Tool is very well built. Heavy materials used. Engineered perfectly for your fuel injectors. These tools have to be able to withstand a beating due to the rover injectors sticking in the port. This handled the task easily.
