This is one of the best aquarium accessories I've purchased. It makes cleaning algae off the glass much easier than it was with the magnetic scrubber, which means the cleaning happens more often and the tank looks better. I'm impressed with the sturdiness of the handle, and it comes with 10 or so double-sided replacement blades. The blades are sharp enough to remove the algae without trouble, but blunt enough that they aren't dangerous. All around a well designed product.

I literally raved about this thing to a co-worker. I can't believe how well it works! I have multiple steel algae scrapers with different sizes that didn't work well at all. I also have the magnet scraper and the scrubber pad with a handle that looks like the green side of a sponge. All are inferior. This thing is unbelievable. You have to put the little scraper piece in but it comes with the tool you need to install it and takes a few seconds. My tank has never been this clean. I tried it on curved plastic and it kept getting caught, but scraped off some algea, so stick to straight glass and you'll be impressed.

Does the job, durable, good thickness, proper size, great value for the money, and you get backup blades.

I used this to clean the green gunk off my fish tank. It worked amazingly and was very easy. But you have to be careful around the corners. I almost took off the silicone that holds the sides together. I liked how long it was made it easier to reach everywhere and hardly had to put my arm in the water.

Works like a charm. Very well made. After use be sure to remove the blade, pat dry, pat dry the whole unit dry. Then put the blade back in and place the cover back on to avoid the blade from rusting.

So far, this is the best scraper I've owned. The blades are not rusting nearly as fast as others, they are staying 'flat', so not leaving streak-marks...and have a nice wide path. Love it!

The screw bearings/attachment zones need a cap if you are not using the full extended arm on small tanks. They are very rough and do not feel good in your hands when you make contact with it.

The blade makes all the difference. It’s not the usual square razor blade. This one is larger with rounded corners. I used to have to scrape up and down many times over an algae spot before it as cleaned. With this scrapper all it takes is one scrape and the algae is gone. Only thing I am not fond of is the tilt angle screw mechanism that seems somewhat weak/flimsy to me.

I can clean my glass without getting wet. The fine blade is very effective. Wide blade means I can clean the glass in my 30cm cube in just a few minutes. Comes with a safety cover.

Awesome cleaner! Diatoms and algae slough off with ease. It will scratch your glass if you’re at too deep of an angle or it’s not flat on the glass, so take your time and don’t try to maneuver around obstacles like a heater. So much faster than using a scrubber. Feels well built and has no signs of rust after using it for a few months. Recommend!
