## Description

The fixed RED Lace circular knitting needle is ideal for (circular) knitting projects with a large amount of stitches, such as blankets and shawls. It is incredibly easy to use. The matte finish will not reflect any light, which normally makes it hard to see your work. These needles are made of stainless steel, a hypoallergenic material that is safe to use for most people with a nickel allergy. Steel alloy is very strong, wear resistant, lightweight and fully recyclable. The tapered tips are pointed, which makes it even easier to knit your stitches. This makes these circular needles ideal for knitting patterns with multiple stitches, such as lace patterns, puff stitches, bubble and cable knitting. The smooth surface ensures that the yarn glides off the needles effortlessly. These needles are entirely straight (no bend) and the transition between the needle and the RED cable is seamless. **Q: How to protect my fingers from hurting when knitting?? These tips are sharp**
A: I am also a tight knitter and am working on loosen up, but in the meantime, when I need to knit with thin, sharp needles, I wear small 
bandaids on the tip of my right hand finger (am also a english style flicking knitter). Work on loosening up and building a little callous where you touch the needle tip. Good luck.

**Q: How long is the actual needle?**
A: The metal ends are 5"' and the plastic they are joined to is long.  Needles are great, somewhat like addi turbos, but much less expensive.

**Q: Is the 40" cable long enough to knit a 60" wide blanket?**
A: It would depend on the weight of the yarn. I had light wt. yarn and the item I knitted, granted a lacy pattern, was about 64." (This was for a flounce at the bottom of a swing sweater.) Good luck.

**Q: where can I find a circular needle size 15?**
A: These circulars do go up to 15s. Under the picture should be a line with the current item listed, with an arrow. Click on it to see other available sizes.
