Perfect for 97 Ford f350 but no instructions if you're handy no problem

The assembly instructions where basically a picture of the finished product and nothing else, the brush guard wasn't too complicated to put together but it would still be nice to have something to throw away so I can feel more manly. The brush guard is pretty strong though. I can pull my Expedition with it and push it with minimal flexing, I wouldn't go driving it into a tree or anything but if you where to hit a deer or something it would definitely add a lot of protection. Great value for the price.

Bought this to fit my 2003 Expedition, and here's my observations Unit arrived with small dent damage to one of the crosstubes...not big enough to really matter though, if the rest of the guard would have just lined up correctly I wouldn't have mentioned it. I honestly don't think this guard was welded using a jig to hold the pieces in place when they were welded together. It did not fit evenly on the frame so the frame mounting brackets had to be resized with a grinder to make the main body of the guard look level and even once it was mounted. The bolt-on headlight guards? forget about it....they were so uneven and could not be adjusted...so I took them off because the front of my truck looked like Mr. Spock raising one eyebrow... The upper support brackets did not come with mounting hardware to affix the two-piece brackets to the guard or to the vehicle. CHEAP quality hardware, so cheap that two of the bolts wouldn't come loose after they were tightened down and had to be cut off so that I could remove the ill-fitting headlight guards DO NOT BUY THIS UNLESS YOU HAVE METAL WORKING SKILLS AND A LOT OF PATIENCE... Oh yeah, forgot to mention that there were absolutely no instructions of any kind, and that youtube does NOT have a video on how to mount it to the vehicle.

Even though it says 2WD only for the 99-03 it does fit 4x4 models too. Fit and looks amazing on the truck and can’t beat the price

The center component is very sturdy, the extensions that protect the head light area not so much as they are just bolt on pieces - will only protect in minor contact incidents. Really like the rubber padding on the "push" bar of grill guard, thick and if you needed to push a vehicle would protect both vehicles. Somewhat easy to install but the directions definitely didn't help with the installation, a few better diagrams especially on the additional support brackets would have been helpful. Aesthetically looks good, only knock there is that the bolts used aren't black like the grill guard so they stand out up close and makes it look like the 3 parts it is. Would definitely consider buying again as price point was significantly better than alternatives.

Very dissatisfied!!! Warning to future buyers to read the entire advertisement, as at the end it indicates professional install required and NO INSTRUCTIONS of any kind where supplied. When your a DIY person and don’t have all the right equipment I had to pay $200 dollars to have installed, if I would had known this I would have paid extra for a user friendly unit. Amazon I hope you can help for any future purchases. Thank you But on a positive note after having to pay the install fee, the unit is nice and well made.

Great bars, fits well on my ‘99 Ford Explorer. The diagram was difficult to decipher and I wouldn’t recommend installing it alone, but definitely good buy.
