L’Oreal Paris Original Telescopic Mascara, Lengthening, Blackest Black

I love it so much my eyes water a bit but my mascara stays on all day and would last longer if i did not remove it. I tried it and when I woke no smear or smudge . Yes I washed my face but left my mascara just to check . I even put some pm moisturizer on and it didn't cause it to smudge. Very geat lengthens and thickens some , that I meed because of my age. Highly recommend. Retired Salon Manager. Very slender brush that works so well and slender casing so less weight in my makeup bag :)

The brush is easy to work with and reaches even the smaller lashes in the corners of my eyes. It coats each lash evenly, making my eyes look more awake and giving my lashes a fuller, longer appearance. I also appreciated that it didn’t dry out quickly in the tube like some mascaras tend to do. Another great feature is how comfortable it feels. My lashes stayed soft and flexible instead of becoming stiff or brittle, and the mascara didn’t irritate my sensitive eyes. At the end of the day, it removed easily with my usual makeup remover without excessive rubbing or pulling on my lashes. Overall, I’m extremely impressed with the quality, performance, and wear of this mascara. I have to say they both are really good mascaras, but they’re both good at different things.. they also work really really good when combined. 🖤 - Longevity L’Oreal takes the win for this one. As a girl who uses mascara daily, I have to say that telescopic has lasted me almost 4 months, whereas lash Sensational started to get a bit clumpy after only a few weeks… (and remember you only need to pump it like, once or twice per eye! The more air that gets pushed in, the dryer it gets!) 🖤 - Lash lengthening Kind of hard to pick a winner. They both do a really good job at this.. but I think telescopic takes the win here, only by a little 🩷 - Lash Curling Maybelline definitely wins. The brush itself is curved and fanned already making it easy to curl them up, whereas Telescopic’s is straight and small. 🩷 - Lash thickening Maybelline wins again. The formula is just a bit thicker already in comparison to Telescopic, which might make your lashes clump together unless you brush them out or separate them after with a dry brush. 🖤🩷-Lash clumping Telescopic is alot thinner, and less easier to clump after layering. You could layer it 3 or 4 times, and it would be fine, whereas Maybelline can probably only last 2 layers before getting too thick. Telescopic is better for a more natural look, where as you have to layer it abunch to get the drama that Maybelline gives much easier.. so it really depends on preference/makeup style 🩷- Lash separating It’s better overall to always keep a dry mascara brush or lash comb, so seperate lashes after mascara application, so they look longer and fuller overall instead of being stuck together. But these mascaras on their own are pretty equally good at separating.. I think Maybelline might be a little better in the area, because of the way the brush was designed. Both of these mascaras are good, I think personally that they work the best together. I always use Maybelline as a base after primer, because it’s best at curling, and throw on telescopic as a second layer, for a really pretty, full result. Hope this helps!!

**UPDATE** I just went to try it and OKG BUY THIS RIGHT NOW!!!!! I am SO FREAKING AMAZED RIGHT NOW!!! I feel like I'm wearing false lashes!!!!! I can't even believe how amazing this stuff is! Not only does it separate my lashes but it def lengthens them!! This mascara does EXACTLY what it says it'll do!!! I just went and bought another tube cause now I'm so worried they'll stop making this stuff lol!!! This is HANDS DOWN the BEST mascara I have EVER used!!!!!! GO BUY IT!!!! I included pics and I made sure to have no other makeup on so my lashes could be seen better! LOOK AT MY LASHES YALL!!!!!!! Worth every single penny!! In fact, this stuff should be WAY more expensive!!!!! Also, I only had to use TWO coats to get this result(and honestly I didn't have to use the second coat but I wanted them a little darker!!) I can't say it enough I am BLOWN AWAY by this stuff!!!! I haven't tried this mascara out yet, so I will update my review once I have! But I had to come on here and say how COOL the tube itself is, it looks like a telescope! 🔭 I think it's the coolest thing ever! I bought this because of the reviews it has, so ladies I hope y'all werent exaggerating lol! I have pretty long lashes but it's hard for me to find a good mascara that doesn't clump and make my lashes stick together so I'm super super excited to try this stuff!!

It’s fantastic mascara. The brush isn’t big & coated with product so goes on cleanly with no flakes into my eyes after it dries didn’t take it off for 2 1/2 days never smeared never flaked off in my eyes. It was wonderful rarely found mascara that does that I’ve worn contacts since I was 17 and I’m 68 now I’ve had cataract surgery and they put in the lenses inside my eye. I can see better than I’ve ever seen in my life. This mascara causes no irritation.

Great mascara! I've used a fair few (all kinds of brushes, fiberlash-type, full and soft type, falsies, etc) and this one is really good for the effect I like, which is long, separated, and lean. I was skeptical the brush was going to work well, long and skinny as it is. I usually equate a bushier brush with better dsitribution, lift, and separation. However, this wand works really well for the consistency of the mascara, which is a bit thin and a little waxy. There's plenty of time for me to work in thin layers, alternating eyes, to get the application I want without it clumping and I get great coating and separation of all my lashes. I DO wish I could get a little more length with this mascara, but I guess you can't have it all. I do not find that it feels cakey or flakes off toward the end of the day either and I am able to wash it off readily with a foaming cleanser. Two thumbs up!

Tl;dr - Good for separation (non-clumping), but did not pass all-day smudge test. I was hoping it would last all day without smudging, but sadly it did not pass the test. I will say that it really does separate lashes and gives them good length as advertised. I will save this mascara for shorter outings, dinners, and quick errands, but it did not pass the all-day test. I put it on in the morning, went on several errands during the day, did some light physical activity outdoors (short archery practice), and hung out at home for the rest of the evening. I checked my eyes before bed and there was light raccoon-eyes -- not nearly as bad as other brands I've tried, so credit there, but I sadly cannot say it is all-day smudge-proof. I will be going back to tubing mascara for all-day wear, which is okay but doesn't give me as much volume or length; I'm just slightly disappointed this one didn't work out for me for daily use but it's not so bad that I'll be throwing it away. It'll work for certain occasions.

I bought this product after seeing a review on Facebook and thought I’d try it. Well, this does what it says it does. The unique brush design and application deliver telescopic lashes with a minimum of fuss. Affordable and a great product.

Creates thick lashes without the clumps that you get with some mascaras. I've just started to use a primer with my mascara and this works beautifully with it.
