Surprisingly sturdy for a cheap welded‑metal bed frame and it looks fantastic. If you’re a master of flat‑pack sorcery, you can assemble it solo by following the instructions. Novices may wish to summon a standard thrall minion or enlist an army of faeries, whichever is easier. Once built, the bed is perfectly stable as long as you secure the slat poles (see below). Two small issues worth noting: - The slats are loose metal poles. This is easily fixed with foam tape or twist ties. - The headboard offers no defence against the Common Lesser Bed Monster (native to the UK and Ireland), which will absolutely steal your pillows. Depending on which genre of movie you’re currently living in, you may love or fear this bed. The under‑bed space comfortably fits three Common Lesser Bed Monsters, one Greater Spotted Bed Monster, or one serial killer. There’s also ample room for an anxious daughter or entire family to hide during a revenge‑arc home invasion, especially from masked mercenaries whose combat ability is inversely proportional to the number “The Agency” sends after you. So whether you’re looking for: - a cosy hell‑dimension to be dragged into (where they keep the stolen pillows), - a hiding spot from elite assassins with questionable aim, or - simply a great place for house‑wide hide‑and‑seek… This bed has you covered. Sweet dreams.

Really impressed with this frame for the money. Instructions were clear and every nut and bolt fitted perfectly with no cross threads or forcing. The supplied Allen key is a bit soft, that’s probably the only thing that’s negative! Bed is sturdy with no creaks and looks good in the room. Topped with a decent mattress, I can’t see any reason why someone weighing up to 14 stone should have any issues.

This bed comes in a tall narrow box. I managed to get it upstairs and then laid all the components out on the floor. The parts are clearly labelled and the screws etc are sealed in a plastic covered piece of card and again are clearly labelled. The instructions are excellent and easy to follow. I put the bed together myself and asked someone to help when fixing the end pieces as it was easier for them to hold the pieces up. I think I could have done the whole bed myself but two makes it easier. There is a small spanner included with the bed but I found this a little fiddly so I used my own. The bed fits together tightly and seems solid. It look great in our guest room and seems good value for money.

Very good quality bed for the price. Sturdy, clear instructions and a nice matte black colour instead of that cheap looking shiny black.

Impressed with this bed. Metal bars instead of wooden seats, have holes for bolts (not provided for these) if you want to secure them but we dont need to. All pieces are bolted into place so nice and secure but also easy to take apart if needed. Lovely height for storing this underneath (needed with kids toys). Daughter is happy with it. Only let down from my point is the headboard part, the pillow slides through the gap now and then so could have done with something there to stop it happening.

Very easy to assemble, took approximately 15 mins. Instructions very clear. Very solid bed, great value for price, goes great in my spare room. Looks more expensive than it cost and it has metal slats so will last a very long time
