First, READ and FOLLOW the directions. Yes, the water needs to be warm when adding the liquid. In the spring, we start spraying roses, flowers, tomatoes, etc. every week. Taper off in the fall. Buy the sprayer from Home Depot (about $10) and do your yard a big favor: Spray.
