After trying just about every big-name DSG fluid—Amsoil, Red Line, and Liqui Moly—I keep coming back to Pentosin. In my experience, this is simply the best fluid for VW DSG transmissions. My MK6 TDI makes over 380 lb-ft of torque, and this fluid provides the smoothest shifts of any I’ve tested. Gear changes are crisp without being harsh, and low-speed drivability feels noticeably more refined than with some of the aftermarket alternatives. One thing I see debated all the time is whether the included 5 liters is enough. For the DQ250 DSG found in many MK5 and MK6 Volkswagens, it absolutely is when performing a standard service with the filter replacement and following the correct fill procedure. I had no issues completing the service. One piece of advice I’d offer has nothing to do with the fluid itself: perform the DSG adaptation/relearn after the fluid change. Many people claim it’s unnecessary, but in my experience it makes a huge difference. Before running the relearn, my transmission had rougher low-speed shifts and wasn’t nearly as smooth. After completing the adaptation, the transmission shifted significantly better. If you’re going to take the time to service your DSG, I’d strongly recommend doing the relearn as well. The kit includes everything needed—fluid, filter, drain plug washer, and O-ring—and the overall value is excellent. It also offers a service life comparable to fluids that cost significantly more. If you own a VW or Audi with a DQ250 DSG and are on the fence, this is the fluid I’d recommend without hesitation. After trying several popular alternatives, Pentosin has earned a permanent spot in my maintenance routine.

Used on a 2017 vw cc with 90,000 miles. Previous owner never changed trans fluid. Had a noise in 3rd gear and 6th gear. After replacing fluid and filter, noises went away and shifts perfectly now. Highly recommend.

Seriously good stuff. Probably need more than you think for your job, like me. So I had to buy a couple extra quarts but. Yeah. Good stuff. Awesome filler port incorporated in top but it's hard unscrewing it if you don't use that. I had to pump mine in thru the drain plug with a tube so I didn't need the filler port but the tube still fit down in there. And I could still push the neck back in there and seal the jug. So it worked fine. Just letting everyone know.

Best DSG for my Cupra's DQ-250 DSG, but some oil leaked from the 5L container. Probably it wasn't handled properly.

It was as expected transmission service kit. Good value as you save some money than buying Transmission Fluid and Filter Separate.
