Beautiful! Perfect for my farmhouse retro kitchen. Toasts perfectly. I love it!

I actually had initiated a return for this toaster because first tryout was half a bagel using the ‘bagel’ button, setting on 4, and the bagel was beautifully toasted on one side and only lightly toasted on the other. So, immediately, I initiated a return. Then I thought, okay let me try an english muffin before I return it and sure enough, put english muffin in, used the ‘regular’ setting and cranked it up to ‘4’, and my muffin was perfectly toasted, all sides. SO what I think (and I probably should read the instruction manual lol) is that when using the bagel button, it will toast darker on one side & lighter on the other. In between all this experimentation I popped in a corn muffin top, perfectly toasted. Toasting capabilities aside, the toaster is really cute. Even my husband, who usually is oblivious to this sort of thing, said ‘honey that’s a cute toaster’ which makes me happy since I keep my toaster out on the counter. Very happy with this little appliance.

So many toasters. So little need for more than one. This Frigidaire has a delightful vintage style and appears well made. Controls exude quality in both tactile touch and function. The single fault I find — and share with others — is its excessive firepower, rendering anything dialed much above "2” a charred depiction of its former self. (Yes, I even twisted the dial back and forth several times.) Consequently, I moderate my dialing accordingly. The pre-toast thawing feature is handy. And the bagel button begets single-sided toasting, igniting outer burners only. Canceling is quickly executed. Dialing doneness is direct and in keeping with the design aesthetic. All in all, a fine toaster. Irrelevant higher doneness settings loses it one star. My experience with this toaster is only weeks along, but sufficient to recommend the appliance.

I so wish i could give more stars. Its a super cute toaster, looks just like photo and I had high hopes it would be the winner unfortunately when it came to trying it out prior to using 1 of the burn coils began smoking and looked as though it had melted.

Great toaster! Made well, has that 50s look, great for toast and large bagels. Have had for over 1 1/2 years now and have never had a problem with it. Highly recommend.

El diseño vintage es muy padre y luce lindo en la cocina, es ligero, calienta/ tosta super bien el pan, tanto así que debes regular bien su temperatura. Me gustó definitivamente.

Does what it's supposed to do. Toast. It toasts nicely and evening and while you will have to figure out the setting for the level of toastiness you prefer, it works well when you do. The only weird thing is how it toasts bagels. I've had to slot the bagels in with the toasted side facing the exterior of the toaster. Not sure if I'm being clear, but basically it's not intuitive for me to put in bagels without trying to remember which side of the slot the element turns on, and I find it a bit odd, but maybe it's just something that needs to become habit. Either way, for the cost, this is a good value toaster and it looks awesome to boot.

Beautiful retro toaster with an industrial vibe.

The photo and description showed this as being Frigidaire which is a quality brand and one of the reasons I bought it. What was delivered looked similar but was a different brand. Visually it looked good but not the brand advertised. Also did not toast evenly on both sides. One side of bread toasted to a nice medium brown but the other side burned.
