This 3M Black Super Weatherstrip Adhesive (08008) is incredibly strong and durable. It bonds rubber seals, gaskets, and trim perfectly, even in extreme temperatures. The black color blends well, and it stays flexible after curing. Works great on cars, doors, and RVs. A bit smelly, but worth it for the performance. Highly recommend!

Marvelous 3M product. We have a 2012 Avalon with ripped weather stripping on both back doors. One rip was just 1" long on the bottom end of the rubber strip. The other side was ripped from bottom to about 1/2" from the top. I searched for several days before settling on this product at Amazon. Despite the complaints from several others. The 3M Black Super...Adhesive 08008 arrived in good shape. Opened carefully with the cap on top. There is no seal under the cap. Be prepared to wipe off ANY excess and recap after dispensing each dose. I applied carefully using metal disposable acid brushes. Pre cleaned the mating surfaces with a thin coating. Hot Day. My project dried to tacky in about 4 minutes. Then carefully mated the two parts. STUCK TOGETHER immediately.. No sliding around to adjust. When the pieces touched they stuck. Prepared surfaces with Qtip wipe with Acetone. Have paper towels or rags available. Sealed the tube, returned it to the box, cap end up. Its in the cabinet for future use. Great Product. Never thought that I would still be making any repairs in my 8th decade. Good luck. Trying for pics below.

Replaced some of the window trim on the doors of my Sequoia recently, but had problems with the clips not holding. Rolling the windows up would pull the trim loose and require me to reinstall them. This adhesive so far has done the job as intended, the trim pieces no longer lift off from use. Product is super tacky and stringy so use care and make sure to tape off your work area otherwise clean up will be difficult. Gloves are also a must.
