These worked very well. High adhesion and durability. No problems, even in a steamy bathroom with heavy towels. I would only comment that the hooks are closer to the base than I would think, but perhaps it is why they hold up so well?

I bought these hooks a year ago and they are great for hanging our towels on a Lucite shelf holding cosmetics, lotions, etc. Long ago I bought shelves from a store that was going out business and selling their fixtures. I had no idea what to do with them. We have a small bathroom, so one day I decided to hang the shelf along the wall and get hooks for towels. It took one minute to add these hooks. The adhesion is so strong. They are perfect for hanging big towels and they look nice.

Only sticks to non painted surfaces. Why is cheap adhesive used in an item used to hang things on? I have five pound pictures hanging on my walls with no problem using the command sticker/Velcro brand. They hang on painted walls.??? Not this item. The cheap adhesive doesn’t work. I used hotglue and it held. Then the hook fell off. That’s why so many people return this item. Same the time and aggravation. Pass on these.

I have one on the wall in my shower and one that used to be on the wall near the garage door. Which one do you think dropped off the wall first? If you guessed the one in the shower, you're wrong. Crazy right? The one in the shower holds our african net sponges, so it's not like it's holding a lot of weight. The one by the door used to hold my tote bag/purse. It sucks it didn't hold up and that is the reason I'm giving it 4 stars. Other than that its a good product.

I have used these hooks in 3 different homes now. I have bought nickel, white, and most recently chrome finish. They are attractive, sturdy and beefy, and the adhesive is stronger than another well known brand. The only downside I would say is that if you take them down to move them, it ruins the adhesive and you need new ones. But these are more of a permanent caliber product.

These are very sturdy, sleek-looking hooks that seem well-made. My only complaint is that the sticky back doesn't work well for sticking. I have tried to use it on the drywall in my bathroom, but it keeps falling off the wall every few hours.
