Will this work with any cable? Or just the Docklocks cable?

The cable has to be just cable on the male end to fit through hole it can't have extra thickness like most cables have on the male end.

What is the diameter of the hole where the cable goes through?

The lock should accommodate 1/2" cable diameter.

Will this work with a 2 piece adjustable paddle?

I lock my 2 piece adjustable paddle with this but it only secures one of the pieces.

Does this work for a three piece paddle?

As long as the paddle shaft is a conventional diameter similar to a regular SUP paddle it should fit. However, since I would guess a three piece paddle comes apart, I'm not sure how effectively it would safeguard the paddle because the paddle parts could be taken apart and the lock just slid off.
