This antenna has made the anxious anticipation of the automatic car wash so much better. I felt like the long factory antenna was going to break off or swing back and smack my windshield. This thing barely moves and even if it bends, it is coated so nothing would be damaged. I don’t really listen to am/fm radio, but I turned it on just to test it. Seems fine to me. No noticeable degradation in reception or sound quality. Also, it screws right on to factory threads. Installation was a breeze. Looks great and seems plenty durable. So far so good.

Perfect fit, well-made, rigid enough to stay straight while driving, but flexible enough to go through an automatic car wash without breaking. Radio reception is the same as the OEM antenna, so there's no compromise on looks over function. Note: I was shipped my first antenna, and it was never received after being delivered. After a phone call to Amazon, another antenna was shipped and received the next day—great product and excellent response when the item wasn't received.
