I was craving a bowl of rice and immediately prepared and am eating it now. Yes, more expensive, but you will enjoy the quality and convenience of 'fast food' that's healthy. Con: None for me. Each pouch is the perfect amount for two people (three if you’re splitting it as a side), and after 90 seconds in the microwave you get perfectly cooked, fluffy basmati rice every single time. The flavor is on-point delicious — light, fragrant, and honestly better than some stovetop rice I’ve had. This cooked rice is surprisingly good. Empty the package into a frying pan and warm up. It’s perfect with the Indian food dishes from the same company or anytime you want rice that’s ready in a couple minutes.

It is hard to find single packages of organic white rice at the grocery stores. These cook quickly in my microwave and are perfect for my stuffed pepper recipe that has cooked ground meat, tomato sauce, rice, celery, and spices.

These are a great, quick, tasty meal, especially when other tasty bite packages are placed with the rice, like the masala with paneer cheese (my personal favorite).
