A: 4 doors.

**Q: Would this be good for a kayak**
A: I'm not sure because it's the kind that open up

**Q: Tis trap inside with small bait cage ?**
A: No, it does not have a bait cage inside.  This is a small trap for day crabbing.  It is not an overnight crab trap with a bait cage inside.  But we have been using it for day crabbing, and it works very well.  We just attach the bait to the bottom of the cage with a plastic zip tie.

**Q: does this open four ways on all four sides?**
A: I don't know  I sent mine back it was too small
