It is a good product, go for it. I will rate the product 4 stars, but packaging and Amazon delivery as 5 stars. Product was delivered earlier than expected delivery date. Pros: - Pigeon brand, comes with a sticker and hologram on the boiler unlike locally made products which cannot be traced as to who made them. - Good product. It is made of steel not Aluminum (Most locally made Milk Boilers are made of Aluminum). Consequently it is a bit more expensive. - I am using the boiler on a LPG gas stove and no blackening of the bottom is observed. Cons: - The Handle needs to be tightened periodically (not a major issue though) - Its capacity is only 1.8 liters, not 2 liters as specified. Since the milk level should be a tad below the whistle level, you can boil max 1.25 liters milk at one time. PS: I have been using this product from last 2 days only. So cannot comment on whistle or any other issues. Whistle worked fine last 2 days. Update on 29th Oct 2017: I have been using this product for last 2.5 months and it is extremely good. No blackening of the surface is observed. Whistle has never given any issue. Handle needs to be tightened once every 2-4 weeks depending on your usage. Overall a very good product. Update on 1st July 2024: I tried to buy this product again in June 2024. But Amazon Delivery is Chutiya, totally pathetic. Sorry to use such strong words, but the Truth has to be told. Out of my last 20 orders, at least 5-6 have been auto cancelled and we are left at the mercy of their Delivery team. Imagine you are ordering something to give as a present to someone on a special occasion, but Amazon Delivery team plays spoilsport. I will have to reconsider ordering from Amazon in the future and spread the word around about their delivery team antics.

Wonderful product

Milk boiler product quality is good. But the whistle provided didn't fit the boiler. Was glad that I had one spare whistle handy, hence started using with defective product. Seller pls improve the service, send the right product with right parts.
