Excellent Masks - Minimize Glasses Fogging
All the bad reviews because people didn't like the packaging these came in seem odd to me. What really matters is that these work great. I've tried many masks trying to get one with a good seal around my nose. These form a great seal and really minimize the amount of glasses fogging. They also seem to be a little heavier duty than the KN95s I had been using. Fibers from the KN95s would come loose after extended wearing, but that does not seem to be an issue with these.

Straps broke on first batch. Okay since.
The lower strap separates from the left side of the mask. It's fixable with a couple of staples. The other 3 attachment points are fine. Otherwise, the mask seals well to my face and is easy enough to breathe through. These are a 20 pack of Honeywell DF300N95, TC-84A-8480, lot no. 210510M03. Update: I didn't have any strap problems with a different batch that I got at my job. I have since bought more with no issues. This is my preferred mask.

Almost fit well
This don't feel like they fit my face, but they have some foam at the nose that compensates some. I would feel safer and really N95 if they were a better fit to my face. The awkward fit though, actually makes good space in the mask to breathe and they are actually comfortable and good to breathe through and start to form to your face better after a little wearing. It helps to really mold them to your face when you first put one on. I bought them because they were the cheapest at the time for N95. They go around the back of your head, so they stay on well, but mess up your hair. . . unless the rubber band breaks, but they last pretty good most of the time.

Holes? Don't stress, it's supposed to be there.
Before I bought these, I saw a lot of people concerned about the punch outs located next to the welded points of the straps to the mask. I reached out to Honeywell and they informed me that the punch outs do not hinder efficacy and they are intended to be there. I also checked for this particular model number to see if there were any recalls or anything like that. I didnโt find any recalls and I did find this mask listed as part of the acceptable N95 list posted from the CDC. So if you have hesitations about these masks for that reason, donโt worry itโs working as intended. Some people might find these masks to be too small, theyโre supposed to be tight fitting. If your mask is comfortable or loose fitted like the ones you can get in just about any store, they are not protecting you as intended. They need to feel snug to the face to create a seal but not quite a seal because if it was a seal you couldnโt breathe. You get what I mean. I've tested this mask on people with rather large heads and they were a little nervous about trying to stretch the straps over their heads but once they were confident that the straps werenโt going to break or anything, they were able to take the mask on and off without any problem. Of course when you have a big head these masks are going to look a little weird on you but so long as itโs covering your nose, mouth, chin and sitting flush to the face to create that snug feel, itโs working as intended. And so far these are working pretty good at keeping my glasses mostly fog free. But your mileage may vary. Overall Iโm very happy with this purchase and I would definitely recommend getting these for yourself. KN95 would have been better but those are getting harder to find on the CDC list ever since the emergency order was lifted. If you are unsure about products, particularly if you see things in comments and the review photos that make you anxious or nervous, please contact the manufacturer to find out whatโs going on with whatever it is youโre seeing and find out for yourself before deciding without any information that something is wrong with it.

1 0f 2 Strap fail during donning
It would be a great product if they would have spent a little bit more on the strap engineering. Because the actual filter media is great, seals well and is comfortable as a mask this type can get. But, after one or two uses one strap will break right adjacent to the welding away from the filter media. This reduces the tightness of the fitting and makes you look silly with one strap hanging down the side of your face. It's not the welding that fails but the strap as it comes out of the weld, as if it was stressed beyond its rating so it leaves the factory stressed, and when you pull on it to make a larger radius to don on, it breaks with a square break next to the weld. I was hoping for better quality from a name brand like Honeywell having used their thermostats and controls over the years.

My most comfortable N95, never any ear pain with behind the head straps, and pocket sized.
I've worn several N95s for hours at a time, by 4+ different manufacturers including 3M. This is my most comfortable mask. It may look like a KN95 but it's a true N95 with behind the head straps. Masks with ear loops are not N95s. Wear for hours and no ear pain ! N95s aren't great in hot weather, they trap so much moisture, you need to carry spares and rotate them out. It's not the most handsome mask, but it's way more pocket sized than the 3M cup styles or the fish style like the 3M Aura or KN94s. If you mold the metal over your nose snuggly and pull your glassed off your face a little, they won't fog up. I keep my spares in sandwich sized ziplocks and after wearing sit them in a sunny window for 4+ days before wearing again. Don't wear your mask 2 days in a row, unless you are 100% sure they didn't get viruses/bacteria stuck in them. I agree with other reviews, my box was not sealed with any tape and the masks were all lumped in one plastic bag inside, that wasn't even folded closed. So yes an Amazon packager may have breathed on your masks. I will be sending pictures to Honeywell to make sure these are real. It may be due to a robotic manufacturing process, and I would rather my masks were not exposed to human factory workers. I let them sit for 4+ days to be safe before wearing. Great value if they're authentic !

Straps were far too tight these are not made for adult heads
These are not made for adult heads, the fit is super strange and more for a child's head even though it says sizes fits all sizes. 3 of us tried them and all of us found the same issue with them. The strings are miserable tight. The side pieces where the string attached to the mask is very rough and scratchy as the strings sort of glued or fused into the material and would likely cause an abrasion to form if you wore it for a long time. the nose pece is very strange as well and it pulls down on the bridge of your nose like someone is pushing a stick against the bridge of your nose. We fiddle and fiddled and adjusted and adjusted and none of us could get a comfortable hit no mater what we did. Again, I though not calculated for adult feature length as it seem to hit and press down in the middle of the nose bridge. I wondered if someone at the factory mis boxed them as they feel like kids masks, not adult mask. The only good thing about them was I have never had a mask where I felt I could breath so well in. No feeling like you are suffocating and can't get enough air. They were heaven in this respect, and you get ths great little bubble of nice clean air s flow around your mouth and nostrils. With some adjustments in design these could be utter dream masks if they made the strings longer to fit adult heads and fixed the bridge pressing down thing and scratch side issue. Non of us have unusually large heads and 3 different noses shapes, so not our nose proportions that was causing the issue. I have never experienced string that tight and that nose issue with any other mask. Something else I liked about them as there were no staples at the side as I have a metal allergy so that was nice but the sides are very rough and think you likely night be a lesion from the rubbing at the side of your face. Sort of feel like a big glue blob that has hardened and is jagged. Please work on redesigning these are the air flow is grand and I was over the moon about that, best airflow I have experience in any mask. That was highly pleasant. I feel like I am suffocating in the majority of masks but not this one. We are stuck with a huge box of them now.

Favorite Masks
It is now April 2024 and I'm still wearing a mask whenever I go out. I've tried many over the last few years and even made some that are very comfortable and my husband prefers. These masks are my favorite because they are effective, fit well and are comfortable. They have a nose piece that is easy to mold to my face and they cover well. My glasses don't fog as much and they stay under my chin when I talk. I like that they have elastic that goes behind my head so fit tighter than the ear version.

Mask itself is ok, but straps broke twice, and sponge not aligned
So far I have used 15 out of 20 for the first pack. Mask itself is good in quality, while the strap broke twice so far at the connecting part. I have to bring another mask to office as a backup. Also the sponge underneath the metal part never aligned, one side is about 1cm longer than the other when folded in pack, and it happens on all the 20 masks. QC needed.

Use at own health risks !!!
Oh my god, didn't expect such quality issues from Honeywell : totally non-hygienic ways of packaging masks which are essentially hygiene items. With such questionable packaging standard for these masks, how buyers can even know for sure these masks are fresh and unused? They looked totally used and being repacked again for sales !
