As a retired massage therapist, I have used many devices over the years. This massager from Snailax is one of the best. It compares easily with Thumpers or other more expensive models. It is fairly quiet, hefty and yet easy to handle and is very powerful. I have to use it on the lowest speed. The long handle makes it easy to reach all those hard to reach places. It just arrived today and as soon as I charged it, I used it on several places on my body. I like the choice of speeds and the pressure feels just right. I have not tried the heat function yet as I don't feel the need. I would recommend this massager to anyone looking for relief of muscle tension. I just hope it holds up well over time.

How should I start? I have owned several back massagers over the years to help alleviate shoulder tension, and until this one, I was not always impressed. However, this massager has features that outdo my previous purchases. It's lightweight and easy to handle, thanks to its solid grip, and it's rechargeable, so you don't have to worry about a cord getting caught on furniture or finding an outlet nearby. It comes with multiple attachments that help you get to the trouble spot, and it's quiet. I especially like the rechargeable option. I highly recommend this massager for its price, features, and the company's support.

I did a lot of shopping around for a handheld massager before I came to this one, and it is hard to find units with build quality as nice as the Snailax model. I will admit that I also get an amount of amusement out of the fact that it is vaguely snail-shaped. It works very well, holds battery for a very decent length of time, although charges relatively slowly. The system for attaching heads is very simple but sturdy, and I think the overall shape of the massager is good and makes it easy to use, but is rather thick at the massaging end which almost veers toward being unwieldy. The least well-developed feature I would say is the heat function. It is very nice to be included, especially at this price-point, but it does not get warm enough to be much use in my opinion. In the end, I would say that I am very pleased with this massager, and I have recommended it to friends as I think for the price it is hard to beat.

I am freshly postpartum and I got this massager as part of my gift to self, that would help me feel more relaxed and well taken care of. I absolutely love this product. Overall, my favorite feature about this product is that it's perfectly universal. The attachment for acupuncture is my absolute favorite when it comes to massaging my hair. Makes me feel so relaxed, I could drift off to sleep instantly,. I currently had an ear infection and used the standard massager for applying some heat and tender pressure on the area behind my ear. It felt heavenly. And soon afterwards my ear was cured, I think the heat helped greatly. I also loved massaging my thighs - I think it's helping to keep my muscles relaxed and tighten my skin a little bit. This massager was the biggest life saver when I strained my back. Massaging my back is extremely convenient since the massager is lightweight enough for me to use it on my back with just one hand. I am planning on keeping it in my car for some rest stop back pain relief when driving for a long time. I love that it's mobile and I can take it along on my adventures. Battery lasts a long time - it was enough for me to have three long massage sessions without having to charge it. Absolutely love this product and highly recommend to anyone who is tense and looking for some options to relax and take care of their body.

At this point there are a million massage tools on the market – before spending higher dollar on so-called "massage guns" which essentially do the same thing, I opted for this one as it included a heat function I thought would be nice. Maybe it doesn't have the same whistles and bells (attachments, settings, speeds etc.) as some of its "fancier" counterparts, but that is reflected in the price. The three included attachment heads are okay, but I often find myself drawn to using it without them at all. Three different speeds/intensities seem enough for me and my uses, primarily on my neck and shoulders and back. I don't know that these large muscle groups would notice the difference between what is likely a subtle change in frequency between sending number 16 and setting number 17, for example. As far as "massage modes" go the variety of "ramping up/ramping down" of vibration intensity is not something I find terribly useful. If I wanted deeper massage I press a little more, if I don't want so much I relieve pressure; that's pretty much the same thing. Again, fancier massage guns may have multiple settings that allow different frequencies or cycles of vibration, but my aches and pains are less likely to notice the difference from one setting to the next. My only disappointment was the heat aspect – the vibration is intense enough and stimulates muscles thoroughly in a way that, whatever he is being applied (if any – difficult to detect) is virtually irrelevant. My skin is warm after use but likely from the friction of rubbing it into muscles and the circulatory stimulation rushing blood to the area more than any heat element within the device itself. I gave it fairly high marks for battery life based on that I've charged it once since owning it for six weeks, but have only used it 1 to 2 times a week for about 20 minutes each. That said, it's rechargeable, so clearly there's enough time when you're not using it to charge it easily without causing much inconvenience. One downside, the charger is not USB, so, if the charger breaks you may be able to replace it with something generic, but if you need to travel with this you will need to bring its own cord and not rely on one of them that you already have with you. For me, it does the job well enough – though I'm glad I did not spend more on it. The cheapest I've seen massage guns go for is still more that I would have been willing to pay for such a device as they are strikingly similar, aside from overall shape. This does the job well enough, I wish the heating element was strong.

Very disappointed. I was excited to receive this product after reading all the positive reviews. I had owned a corded hand held massager for many years and was super pleased with it, once it finally kicked the bucket I decided to order this cordless one. Within 2 months after receiving it I started having issues. The charging cable broke and I had to purchase a new one - not a big deal was maybe 10 bucks? But the real issue is that my device does NOT STAY CHARGED. I plug it in for several hours...the light turns red (meaning its fully charged) but immediately DIES after only 3-4 mins of use and I have to recharge it. I have even tried to use it while it was plugged in and it still died after only a few minutes of use. This does seem like a very powerful massager and would be a tremendous help for my chronic back pain...if it would just stay ON for more than a few mins at a time?? So thinking this was a faulty unit, I contacted customer support at Snailax for some resolution...and they did offer to send me a replacement, BUT...I have to ship this unit back AT MY OWN EXPENSE...? Not acceptable... This is terrible customer service in my opinion. I should not have to pay for the return of an item that obviously has a serious defect. The very least the company could do is send me a return shipping label at their expense. I'd like to add that this is the very 1st time I have ever posted a negative review for any product I have ordered from Amazon...but I felt I had to in this instance. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

For me this rating, but , I think as a product, it could be very good for its uses. The only problem is its weight : it is very heavy.i don’t think it is bearable for anybody else or individual use.

This is a great product, well-made like other Snailax devices. It's battery-powered, so there's no need to keep it plugged in. It comes with a charger, and light indicators let you know when the battery is low. There are four buttons: one for heat, one for modes (three modes available), and one to change the intensity. It also includes three different massage heads: Shiatsu, acupuncture, and another type. I found the acupuncture head great for scratching and massaging my back, which was exactly what I needed. Each head is useful for different areas and purposes. This handheld massager is a great addition to my collection. It's versatile for those who enjoy massage devices but don't want separate ones for each body part. I'm mainly using it for my back and the back of my legs, where I often need help reaching. The quality is impressive, with durable plastic that feels reliable. It doesn't overheat, even with long use, thanks to the safety features. Everything you need to know is in the manual, so I recommend reading it before starting.

Hi, you receive the product and a card to register for the warrantee via email, which is great however 2 out of the 4 attachments do not stay on and fly off every time you use them. Whilst we are in the midst of the CV-19 I did receive immediate response regarding the warrantee card, but no response from my queries regarding the attachments (one has 3 seperate massage heads on it, essential for what I wish to use it for and the other is great for calf and upper legs and I cant use either). Im hoping they may replace them but to date still have not heard anything? They have sent me a return print out, but I am expected to pay postage which is the over half the price of the item? With regard to this being sent from USA and the warrantee therefore, despite being included in the packaging being null and void, if the attachments stayed on, then great, refusal to replace the attachments or pay to return the item means you are left with a machine that does not work properly despite the amount you paid for it. I would not bother to buy this, there are better products out there. I sent this back via their return label and was never refunded for the item and or the postage from this company. Amazon has refunded the item, Im awaiting if they will refund the postage! All they had to do was resend two new attachments that fitted. Waste of time and money so far. Here's hoping Amazon honour the postage as well.

The Snailax is an amazing product. I started using the product for 2 days and feel the comfort of my muscles relaxing and it is awesome. It has 4 different massager grip to suit different parts of the body . No words to say , it is an amazing product really a good investment and will recommend to all my friends .
