So happy I opted to give this tubing a try! It is FAR more flexible than any other tubing I have used throughout my fishkeeping and hydroponic systems and best of all, instead of my tubing turning green from exposure to light (algae loves light!) my tubing, as well as my tank water remains algae-free! I am currently using this tubing in a hydroponic grow tower. It works with a pump in a covered base tank that isn't exposed to light, but the majority of the tubing spends its time snaking its way up to the top of my grow tower and is exposed to a LOT of light. The black tubing seems to have stopped the water in my base tank from taking on the green tinge of algae and I don't have to risk my plants using any sort of algaecide to eliminate it. I will definitely buy more of this tubing for my outdoor water features in the spring!
