Easiest and best improvement yet!
Purchased a used 2017 Winnebago View from RV One in Greensboro NC. Ordered the rear yellow Sumo’s and installed them it the bdealership before leaving for an 820 mile trip home. I’m a first time C class RV driver but a long time EMT/Paramedic and drove Ambulances for years before retiring. So I have driven or rode in the back of a similar vehicle. That being said and after watching a few videos, I purchased Sumo’s for the rear and brought them with me to install for the trip home. I waited until I got home to install the front ones. I’m glad I installed the back ones, the ride home was much easier than I anticipated. With just the rear’s the side to side roll was greatly reduced compared to the ones I test drove prior to buying this RV. I wished I had installed the front ones before I left. After I installed the front’s, which were pretty easy, the ride has greatly improved front to rear! I would recommend these for a much better ride, experience, and less white knuckle driving!! Yes these do fit a 2017 Mercedes 3500 sprinter.

2018 Sprinter Van Install
Super easy installation. For a 2019 Sprinter Van 2wd, I used the factory jack and didn't even need to lift the tire off the ground. Just raise up the suspension enough to fit the superspring into place. Ride quality is improved- specifically the leaning/swaying on curves (especially highway driving). The ride is slightly more harsh, but worth it.

Noticed immediate improvement
I purchased the Sumo Springs bump stops for my 2006 Ford E250 work van. After a ten minute install , I floored it out of the driveway immediately and WOW I felt the difference the second I pulled out of my driveway. The first test was taking sharp turns around in the parking lot and I could feel how they kept the vehicle flatter, rather than feeling like I’m gonna fall out the window. Then decided to blast through the dreaded V gutter down the street. I blasted right through the V gutter like butter. I was already impressed by how well they worked, but decided to test to see how they did on the freeway with those annoying bumps. They once again didn’t let me down. These make my daily commute so much more enjoyable. I’ve been recommending them to everyone , so do yourself a favor and get them NOW!! I’m sure glad I did. Thank you Sumo Springs !!!!!

SumoSpring bumpstop on a Sprinter/Winnebago Via 25C
My Mercedes Sprinter Winnebago Via 23C had too much sway with stiff cross winds and passing trucks. So much that the dogs got motion sickness and made a FL to KY trip miserable. These SumoSpring bump stops help take the sway out of the front end and provide far better stability than the factory bumpstops. Installation takes a little planning with a 13 mm deep well socket and an extension. Spray the old factory bumpstop retaining nuts with Rust Blaster to make their removal a little easier. The 13 mm deep well socket is needed to access the nut which is recessed inside a double shell framing bracket. I found that in order to hold the new nut and washer in place on the deep well socket it was handy to wrap them with a layer of teflon plumbers tape. The teflon tape was thin enough to hold each in position while I hand threaded the socket with washer and nut onto the stud on the new Sumo bumpstop. Once it started to thread; carefull unloading the alligator jack let the frame down to begin compressing the bumpstop and allow the nut to be tightened fully while the bumpstop was in partial compression. I gotta say its far more stabile side to side. Some say the ride is a bit harder than with factory bumpstops but I prefer the better stability and not needing to fight the steering constantly with trucks and cross winds.

Works good !
I liked the one quarter inch increase in ride hight. Improved ride quality 95% of time. The increased progressive spring rate works well; now to fine tune the suspension - feel a slight need for more rebound damping.

MB Sprinter RV must have
Fairly easy install and a much improved ride down the driveway and down the road.

Great for front bump stock replacement on Sprinter based RV’s.
In combination with another set of Sumo Springs for the rear of our Sprinter based RV, the side sway entering and exiting driveways and parking lots, as well as the push from passing 18 wheelers at highway speed has been dramatically reduced. These are an absolute must for Sprinters. The factory bump stops they replace are a joke, and the cause of all of that lateral sway.

Sumo springs work well. Delivery time was great.

Makes a huge difference with the cross winds. Super easy to install. Just you tube it.

I was skeptical if they would deliver the ride quality they promised so I installed them on my old suspension (before I swap to new struts) and to my surprise they work very well. Large bumps, small bumps, and the well known sway/rocking over uneven terrain is smoothed out and is halted before it really begins. Very impressed by these. Good product and worth the money. Pretty easy to install as well.

UPDATE: After using these bump stop replacements for a week now I can say they do a fantastic job. I got the blue ones. Perhaps the black with a higher load rating would be better for heavier vehicles. My van is a light RV conversion so the blue do fine. Way more stable. Less body roll in corners. Better slow speed maneuvering. Looking forward to installing the real ones once I buy them. Some say no difference but when I installed them on my 2012 Mercedes Sprinter 2500 cargo van they made a big difference in ride and handling especially on bumpy roads and curbs. No more wagging from side to side. I only did the fronts but will get the rears soon. Install was very quick. Jack up van, remove front wheel, remove old bump stop, install new Sumospring and re-install wheel. I’d recommend these to anyone wanting to make their van handle better. My van has about 90,000 kms on it so not worn out yet but getting broken in.
