Best Swing Hardware On The Market...AWESOME!!!
These suckers were built to take a lifetime of use and abuse!!! I looked at all the other swing hardware and these just blew them all away. If you want to buy swing hardware that will probably outlast the swing and the set or lumber you attach it to, stop here and click the "Order Now" button. The only things that don't come with the set are bolts, nuts and washers to actually hang the hangers with. This is a good thing because the manufacture doesn't know how each buyer will be mounting their hangers. They could have included a best guess and charged more for the set, but then you would probably have to go buy different bolts and be stuck with the ones they included! Nope, best to measure the beam you will be mounting to, allow for the thickness of the swing bracket, room for flat washers, lock washers, the nut and a little wiggle-room. This can vary from 5-8" for the bolt length. Once you've done the math head to Home Depot or Lowes and get exactly what you need. It's best to use bolts all the way through the beam rather than lag bolts as they could come loose over time. When you're all through you will have an installation that will stand the test of time and give your kids a safe reliable swing for years of play and fun!

Great product, great customer service!
Heavy duty castings. I actually managed to get 1/2"-13 hardware through these. I hung them from a 4x6 beam and drilled 5/8" holes with a spade bit. It was a bit challenging to get the nut on the side(s) with the nut through the swing hanger. It just took a little attention to the assembly order and everything came out great! The company immediately emailed me instructions and a thank you for purchasing their product. I truly appreciate them reaching out and being ready to make sure I was successful installing the product. I will be buying more stuff from Jungle George.

worth it, installation was a good substitute for shoulder day... although it did leave me with belay neck
I purchased this set to hang my yoga trapeze from the 6" x 6" beam that runs across my living room. I will also be using one of them to hang a heavy punching bag. I used 4 1/2" x 4" lag bolts and 4 1/2" washers. I drilled the pilot holes with a 5/16" drill bit. I used vice grips to screw in the lag bolts. I should have acquired a wrench or a bolt driver bit while at the despot, unfortunately I forgot. ***A note about installing these, or restated bluntly, LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES!!!!!!*** 1. I installed the hangers too far apart. It was easily corrected with a temporary fix of two quickdraws (climbing gear) clipped together and then clipped over the hanging ropes. The more permanent fix until I move will be a length of chain strung between the hangers, and the the ropes hung from the chain. I went with 36" between hangers, I should have gone with ~30" 2. You must start on the nut side of the hanger. Insert the bolt and washer completely into the hole on the nut side of the hanger BEFORE you start to screw in the bolt to the surface. If this step is not taken, the nut and bit of bolt sticking out on that side of the hanger will catch not only the washer, but the bolt head being used to secure it to the surface. 3. Use a better tool than a vise grip when installing the bolts, like a bolt driver bit. It was quite the shoulder workout getting those in, mistakes and all. I hope this helps YOGABODY Yoga Trapeze [official] - Yoga Swing/Sling/Inversion Tool, Purple with Free DVD

Very nice quality
Used two sets of these for a swing set. First set is for a porch style swing, and the other set is for a toddler's swing. Very pleased with the quality and function of these. It is easy to swap out the chain, to adjust the height of the swings. Would recommend to anyone looking to mount swings.

Great hardware, with a minor exception.
This is some great hardware with a minor imperfection that is easily corrected. The specifications state that it accepts up to 1/2" bolt, which it does albeit snuggly, but the bolts that go through the bearing stick out far enough to make it impossible to actually fit a nut on the 1/2" bolt that I used to mount this to my swing-beam. I got around the issue by loosening the nut on the bearing bolt, backing the bearing bolt out, then securing the nut for my mounting bolt. Then I re-tightened the bearing bolt, and then secured my other mounting bolt. I had to do this on all 8 of my brackets. It was a minor inconvenience, but in the end it worked. I suspect, but obviously cannot say for sure, that if you were to use 3/8" mounting bolts it would not only be easier to align the holes for mounting to your beam, but it would also probably allow enough clearance to avoid this problem. I would say that the carbiners that are included look a little cheap, so I replaced them with locking chain-links, and the bolt in the bearing bracket looks to be chrome and not galvanized so if there is a rust potential it is there. Though if they do, it would be easy to replace just the bolt without removing the entire bracket. Either way, the price is right and these are very well made pieces of hardware. I will update my review if I notice any issues going forward such as rust or performance, but for now these look pretty solid. I made a swing set with 12' 4x4 post legs and a 16' main beam using 3 sistered 2x6 boards. I had 3 grown men over 220 pounds each swinging for all we could, and the brackets performed great without so much as a squeak.

Great quality products.
Bought these for a swing I made for my daughter, I have had these for almost a year now and they have held up extremely well. They are permanently mated to my pergola outside and they show no signs of corrosion or wear. They are quiet and smooth while operating. I would recommend these.

These are built like a rock
These are built like a rock. They are all iron and steel with no flimsy plastic. I liked the double holes that enables two screws per bracket. I needed extra support for installing a hanging bed that alone weighed 150 puunds so when you add one or two people laying on the bed the weight could be around 450 to 500 pounds so I was concerned about both quality and strength. These deliver on both. Good product.
