Review: A Stunning Deck of Cards.... - When I saw the images of these cards online, I fell in love. Usually I don't like dark decks, but decks that are lively in colors but this deck made my exception list and I am glad it did. I had one of Lucy Cavendish's deck (Wild Wisdom of the Faery Oracle) and have always been amazed by how accurate that deck was. I have many oracle decks about 8 Doreen Virtues and 2 of Colette Baron Reid's, 2 of Sonia Choquette, and some others= and Lucy's is the most accurate (other than Colette's Decks). Because of this, I wasn't hesitant to buy another deck of Lucy's especially of when its with gorgeous artwork. Upon getting this deck and opening up the box, the cards in person are even more gorgeous. Just really gorgeous cards of extreme depth. Sometimes I just find myself staring at the cards more than the message as the images are like beautiful little girls with a whole lotta tude! They remind me so much of my beautiful teenager niece. An old world artistry feel to these cards... The fabrication of the cards are decent and help to add to the beautiful of the artwork on the deck, but sometimes they can warp. There's enough darkness with a right balance of color to not make you get scared and run away from the deck. Packaging of this deck is also a bonus. The box it comes in is a very sturdy cardboard about 5" x 6.5" so its portable in your purse (if you have a large purse) without worry of not having the instruction book or getting your cards ruined. If I could, I would suggest all deck publishers to consider encasing their cards in such way. The theme to the cards can sometimes mimic her other decks, but not as bad as the extremely repetitive tune of a Doreen Virtue deck. Lucy places a great deal of depth to the card meanings to give you as little room for ambiguity as possible (that's the difference between Lucy Decks and Doreen Virtue decks). So if you're not psychic or sensitive, you won't have a hard time deriving a message from it. If you compare this deck with Lucy's other decks I would say this deck tends to explore and answer feelings really well. So if you have query about how others feel/perceptions about a situation/person you can easily use this deck. You can also use this deck for advice readings as its probably mainly suited for this. If you're in tune with this deck, you can use it to predict also, I have. When I first got this deck, the readings were kinda "everywhere" not consistent like the others have spoken of. But then I slept with it under my pillow for a few days and this deck became more in tune with me and sometimes eerily consistent. The few cards I like having in this deck is "Miracle" of Angel of Alchemy card which talks about health challenges. Which is nice. I got this card during a time where I was ignoring a health issue. Its not come into my readings anymore after going to the doctors. I also get this for other people I read for too, and it usually makes its presence known when you're ignoring a health issue. Because Lucy is familiar with Tarot, you can see the resemblance of Tarot in these cards, which I like a lot. Like the "Aha-Moment" card is akin to the ace of swords to me. So when I see this card I know something sudden is going to happen or a sharp realization with take place. You can easily not use the instruction book and just read the cards, but the instruction book gives far more depth so its hard to just put it down but the illustrations have so much depth to them that you extrapolate meanings accordingly.... or make up your own language with them. I love this deck mostly because the fabrication and art of this deck are both gorgeous!!!! Review: Absolutely breathtaking, and so accurate! ♥️ - I just received this gorgeous Oracle card deck, by Jasmine Beckett- Griffith, and Guidebook by Lucy Cavendish, and it’s even more beautiful in person! Beautiful Card Artwork!
Beautiful! They feel electric in my hands and resonate with me. These cards are one of my favorite oracle decks because they layer very well in my intuitive readings. I pair them with the Beautiful Creatures tarot deck as well as my mermaid one. I'm a fan of Jasmine Becket-Griffith, and this artwork speaks to me. I'd rate the artwork on the cards a 10/10. The book does help. However, Lucy Cavendish seems less her creative self than in the other decks I own of her work. On page 63, she repeats the word happen several times. I find myself tripping over some of her writing, which is not the case in her other deck books. I read using my intuition, so I wouldn't discourage anyone from buying this set on that point. Once you learn all the essences of the cards, you won't be turning to the book very often in intuitive readings. Overall, I love these cards and use them more often than my other oracle decks.

Very pleased.
Officially one of my top favorites of all the multiple sets of oracle cards i own. Brutally honest in the best ways. Pretty Straight to the point, tells you what you need to hear…, not what you’re hoping to hear. These are a breath of fresh air for me as I’m someone who would rather be hurt by the truth and not comforted by sugar coated bubbly love and light nonsense. These don’t beat around the bush, be ready to be told like it is. I mean all of this in the best way possible. Very much so worth it. Very satisfied with the cards and guidebook.

Interesting deck
One thing I have learned is to note the difference between decks that claim to be a "tarot" deck vs. an "oracle" deck. If you want little tid-bits of advice, simple morals to take with you through out the day, then an Oracle deck is just fine. However, if there is a deep rooted question one wishes to ask and fully explore, then a Tarot deck is more appropriate. Having said that, this oracle deck is charming. The artwork is beautiful and draws the eye. The cards all repesent common, yet useful themes that do help one get through a day. The advice serves as good morals to live by and is very helpful, which is what one is looking for when they consult a deck in the first place. I have used this deck several times since it arrived and I am very pleased with the advice. If anyone is starting out exploring Orcale or Tarot decks then this should be one to start with.

These BIG eye Beautiful Faires and Mermaids A Must Have
Shadows & Lights.... I had my "eye" on this deck as an enthusiast for over a year! adding this deck to my small collection of oracles just what I needed and expected. The artistry and diversity of these "bad asses" with attitude and Truth is amazingly astonishing and very easy to follow and depict , I Love what Lucy Cavendish (author) did with these cute Lil Women- Ladies. The Big Guide book is kept very simple and nice print, The cards are oversized not to hard , not to soft just a gentle feel in a hand. I really recommend this deck and using the recommended spreads are COOL and on point. Any one would appreciate these creatures including a young girl 10+ up. I Love It !

Beautifully Illustrated Deck – Deserves More Use!
The Oracle of Shadows and Light is a stunning deck with truly beautiful, detailed illustrations that capture a magical and mysterious energy. The artwork alone makes it worth owning. I haven’t used it as much as I should, but every time I do, the readings feel deep and meaningful. A lovely deck for those who appreciate gothic or whimsical styles — I really should reach for it more often!

Strangely Beautiful
Order was delivered very quickly, in good condition. The cards are beautifully printed, however a little bit big and sturdy. If you have small hands, it would be quite difficult to shuffle. My recommendation is to seperate each card first before shuffling them as a whole to avoid cards sticking together. I am pretty pleased with the deck, it has a feeling of mysteries and wonders mixing together. If you are a fan of fantasy realms, this could be a decent choice.
