Why do I get constant static noise? I tried with both my computer and phone and the noise is always there.

These earbuds are very sensitive (25Ohms, compared to the regular 32Ohms of other low tier earbuds), and the electrical noise is amplified compared to other earbuds or heaphones I've used. On the other hand, it does mean you get better volume out of them if you want it, although to get rid of the noise you would need a better source device, or if you want to suppress it you can get a small extension cable with an in line volume wheel, and max out the volume on the source. Effectively, the volume knob increases the impedence (ohms) of the cable on the way to the earbuds, and reduces the noise floor by making it harder for the device to drive the earbuds. If you pay attention with other headphones or earbuds in a quiet place from the same device, the noise is there as well, just not as pronounced due to the higher impedence. I've had some devices where I already have noise issues with other earbuds and headphones with higher impedence, and I can't use these because it's so much louder it's distracting. I've actually ordered an extension with an in line volume knob like I mentioned for the purpose of using the earbuds with these noisy devices. Otherwise, the only device I can use these earbuds on without the extension is an old Galaxy S7 that I was given, which has a fairly good DAC and amp for a phone when set up right.

How sensitive is the mic on these? I have a low voice that seems to be hard to pick up

Seemed to work okay for me. But I’m not that quiet. Have you tried to choke up on the cable and get the mic closer?

Anyone else feel the quality has degraded since they started using these?

I bought a pair on Dec. 31 2020. I've been using these for studio production, playing metal music on my guitar, and on my twitch stream...playing guitar. In the last couple of days, I noticed my guitar sound was off. I checked all settings everywhere in my PC, OBS, interface, etc. I swapped them out for an old pair of regular headphones, and "BINGO!" I done used these up...lol So, not too shabby for 25$...11 months of major HEAVY METAL GUITAR! I already picked out a new pair to order. \,,/
