I have a griddle and small bbq pit on my deck. I am unable to pick up the larger 20lb propane tanks. This 10lb tank is the perfect size. It's light enough for me to pick up myself (Over 60 yr old woman) and take and get filled with propane. Once it is filled, I can still easily carry it to the back yard and put on my deck. It is well made and should last me a while before needing to refill. This size is not easy to find in my local stores but was so easy to order on Amazon and get delivered to my house. I would recommend this size for someone that can't carry the bigger ones and doesn't want to have to keep buying the little 1lb tanks.

Just got it and I like the compact portability it provides for weekend camping. It should hold more than enough gas for weekend cooking. I first got the 5lb tank but found it to be too small for weekend cooking.

Fits nicely in a backpack enabling me to carry it easily while I use a weed torch to kill weeds.

Works as it should. Good value and quality, and have been using it for 4 years now.

I was going to order a 5 lber then thought, for the price, let me get the 11lb one instead. I'm glad I did. You can get about 2.4 gallons of propane in it. That was enough to run one Buddy-style heater for almost 40 hours straight on low-setting. Enough to knock the chill off in my house. NOW, first time tried to have it filled, the guy at Tractor Supply couldn't get it to work...Took it to an ACE Hardware and no problem. Flame King bottles and valves seem to be top quality. IF you think you need a smaller cylinder, I recommend you going with the 11lber too instead of the 5...It's just a little bit taller and you might pay the same price or even less.

I love the 10lb for ice fishing! It fits in a 5gal bucket perfect. I highly recommend as a gift for any ice fisherman

Excellent quality tanks and valves with unloaded safeties. Better sized for the dual input regulator they supply. Less weight to support making them easier to support on a single shelf thT frames them fall hazŔd without straps. They must be charged temotely which removes hazards of explosion while hooked to charged system.

Wanted ... for a looooong time something > than the 16oz cans and < than the 20# bottles. Didn't want the 3# bottles. This works for us wile traveling the USA in our 2006 Ford 3500 Passenger van with cooking, lighting and especially heating.
