By Brightz, Ltd. Seller on June 13, 2017: "They are water resistant. They should not be submerged, or left in rainy conditions for extended periods of time." From an outside source I found online: "The technical definition of water resistant is that it's able to resist the penetration of water to a certain degree, but not entirely. Waterproof technically means that it's impermeable to water, no matter how much time it spends in water." Below is from the seller... Specifications: Your light kit includes: 1 water resistant light made of durable ABS plastic, with on/off switch 4 plastic ties for secure installation 1 non-skid barrier to protect your bike’s finish. Instructions Requires 2 AAA batteries - not included 15+ hours of light No tools needed! 4 modes of control – constant, slow flashing, medium flashing, and fast flashing **Q: Anybody know how bright these lights are? Lumens?** A: They definitely show up when it is dark. I bought one for the back tire area and one for the front area to make sure they would be seen. There is also a flashing setting that should get the attention of motorists. **Q: Are they easily removed to prevent theft?** A: No. They are not easily removed. Easier to remove the bike tires than to remove the lites. **Q: I have a wide frame ebike. Where can I get longer silicon straps to mount this light to the frame?** A: I have the same e bike with wider frame so I have to use longer regular tights. Just a note, the lights are not as bright as expected. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Stars *by A***R on 4 February 2016* As described.
