This product is very good; it made a difference to my nails. Now they've grown healthy and don't break.

My nails grow quickly but its hard to keep them at a pretty length due to breakage or splitting. I did some research and found this brand. I read a bunch of results and decided to take a chance. The results are remarkable. After a few weeks of consistent daily use, I noticed a significant improvement in the strength of my nails. They became noticeably harder and less prone to splitting and breaking, which has been a game-changer for me. I get regular manicures monthly with my pedicures and my regular nail lady when she cut them down last time was like wow your nails are strong. Caveat it can burn if your nails are thin at first but just trust the process.

I've only been using this since 9/18/2023. My nails have no issues with growing fast, they're just paper thin, and anytime I do manage some length to them they have a tendency to curl upwards. I can confirm like many others have stated that if you apply more than one coat, it may cause some discomfort, but I promise you it will fade. If you stick to only one coat you're less likely to experience that. I can tell when I have this product on it does feel like my nails are less bendy when there's some length, but it's not at all a significant change that impresses me. Even with the product on, I still find myself having to be very careful with my nails when I get some length to them if I want to keep the length, and that's not exactly an easy feat unless I sit still and do nothing. I do find it annoying that I cannot seem to get this product applied smoothly. No matter how thin of a coat I try to achieve it ALWAYS ends up drying with air bubbles leaving the finish all bumpy, which isn't an attractive look, and I feel like I've wasted a lot of product re-doing my nails just to try and get a smooth finish. I do plan to continue using this product at least until all of what I've purchased is gone, and hopefully by then I will see some real improvement ***fingers crossed***. UPDATE: While I stated above I wasn't so impressed to start with thinking I'll ALWAYS have to wear this if I want them to be stronger, color me impressed now. After using this slightly longer than 2 weeks, my nails are definitely stronger even without having the product on them, and they're not showing signs of breaking/bending/peeling even while I was doing my chores today when I didn't have the product on. I don't' know what's in this stuff that changed the way my nails are, but I'm a happy camper. I'm still struggling to get that perfect thin coat though without air bubbles, but given the trade off I can live with it.

I always had splitting thin weak nails my whole life. For 6 months this year, I had SNS nail dipping powder done at the nail salon. Expensive! and my nails were ruined with deep ridges and were fragile when I decided to stop the sns. So for the past 2-1/2 months I have been using this nail hardener. I am thrilled with how healthy and long and thick/hard my nails are. This photo I took just now and am wearing 2 coats of this hardener. You must go slowly by applying this hardener only halfway on tips of nails in the beginning. I did this for the first week. I then put one coat on my nails. It burned when it touched my cuticles so make sure you remove any on your cuticles. Also use a good quality cuticle oil like CND solar oil everyday and a good hand cream. I then used 2 coats after about 1 month. I don’t have any burning in my nails. I keep it in the refrigerator and apply a thin coat first by going over the nail with the brush and the next day I apply another thin coat. It lasts a week and I use regular nail polish remover to remove it. Then I do the process over again. Sometimes I paint my nails and use this as the base coat. My manicures I give myself for free look great and last. I am so happy with this product and get compliments on my nails.

I ordered this 3 months ago when I decided to give up doing my own dip nails. My nails are naturally veryveryveryveryvery thin and paper-like (bends way too easily), and after dip manis, my nails were almost pink they were SO thin. I started with 2 thin coats (top half of the nail) and 2 thin coats (entire nail). YES, it hurt. It felt like a very strong, deep, dull throbbing pain as if someone had smashed my fingertips with a hammer... imagine your worst period cramps, but under your nails. However, I did not take it off since my pain tolerance is pretty high and I really wanted it to work. I would remove it and reapply weekly, but afterwards I did 2-3 coats instead of 4 and the pain definitely went away after the 2nd week as my nails started to get stronger. So YES, if you have very thin, weak nails, several coats WILL most likely be uncomfortable, so if you can't handle that much pain then start with one coat and work your way up as your nails get stronger. HOWEVER... THIS. STUFF. WORKS. 100%. Not a single nail has broken/chipped since the day I started using QA. They are longer and stronger than they've ever been. I also regularly moisturize my hands with hand/nail lotion, apply cuticle oil twice a day, and gently file my nails with a crystal file. I've been a nail biter since I had teeth, pretty much my entire life. I've gone through phases where I tried to kick the habit, only to grow out paper-like nails that could easily bend and were almost see-through. I've tried acrylics, gel overlays, dip powder, and even press on nails but always hated the "fake" look. I started using Quimica Alemana nail hardener about 3 months ago and my nails have NEVER been this long and strong! I am so proud of finally breaking my gross habit at 30 years of age and can happily show off my natural nails! I've been getting compliments from all of my family, friends, and coworkers. It's such a nice feeling. I ordered the 3-pack and gave the other 2 to my best friends and they also love it and have seen successful results. Highly, highly recommend.

So about this product. DO NOT USE. THIS PRODUCT DID MAKE MY NAILS GROW (and they grew long and I never had any nails)AND IT STOPPED ME FROM BITING MY NAILS. THE DOWNSIDE IS, IT STARTED MAKING MY FINGERS NUMB AND MY POINTER FINGER WENT COMPLETELY NUMB AND COULD NOT DO MY JOB EFFECTIVELY (Stenographer). THEN THE PAIN WENT TO MY ARM. MY DOCTOR AND I COULD NOT FIGURE IT OUT. I STOPPED USING (NOT BECAUSE I THOUGHT THAT WAS THE ISSUE) THEN WHEN THREE OF MY NAILS BROKE I USED THE PRODUCT AGAIN AND THE PAIN AND NUMBNESS CAME BACK, THAT'S WHEN I KNEW FOR SURE IT WAS THE NAIL POLISH.

La química alemana para las uñas sí da resultados, pero es importante usarla con compromiso y de manera adecuada. Recomiendo aplicarla alejada de la cutícula, ya que por sus ingredientes, un uso incorrecto puede causar efectos no deseados. Si se utiliza con cuidado y de forma constante, ayuda a fortalecer las uñas y a lograr mayor crecimiento. No es un producto para usar a la ligera, pero bien aplicado, cumple su función.

I used to have bionic nails and I'm really rough on them, but for some reason, my nails have become weak, brittle, and peel horribly from merely trying to peel a sticker off an item. I've tried all kinds of different products to strengthen my nails and nothing worked until I came across this Holy Grail of nail hardeners. Seriously: it's the Holy Grail of nail hardeners. On clean, dry nails, I usually apply 2 coats. It has a "whitening effect" which I LOVE, so that's all good. It looks great under sheer polish colors, too. The few complaints I see about it causing skin inflammation or that it's "painful on my nails" - I have no idea what they're talking about. As fair skinned as I am, if anyone would have suffered from some type of skin affliction, it would've been me and I've had no problems whatsoever. Afterwards, put on whatever polish and/or top coat you want. Again, the whitening effect is great for anyone who loves sheer colors (me) and if you prefer the darker colors, you won't even notice the whitening effect. Moreover, just this nail hardener alone seems to mediate nail discoloring (the yellowing that you sometimes get especially if you're a smoker); they just don't yellow or don't yellow as badly with this magic stuff. If your nails are in really bad shape - as mine WERE - follow the instructions which says to apply a coat on clean, dry nails and then apply additional coats during the week (I think 2 or 3 coats max for a week was suggested). Even the tips of my nails - which get the most damage to them - are still in great shape after a full week. I applied an additional coat - when I felt necessary - just to ensure that my tips didn't start tearing/breaking. The only bad thing I can say about this stuff is that for some reason it does seem to "bubble" after a perfectly applied coat. You don't see it at first, but you'll notice it after a day or two. Maybe that's proof of the magic in this bottle of Holy Grail nail hardener. However, if you put a coat of polish over it, you won't even notice the bubbles because the bubbles aren't tactile; you can't feel them. You can only see them if you look very closely at your nails. But here's the kickers as to why this stuff is the Holy Grail of nail hardeners: 1. IF you chip a nail (it still happens especially from a woman who is very hard on her nails), the stuff is so good that it's more difficult to even your nail out with a nail file!!! It would probably be easier to simply clean the hardener completely off your nail, file the nail even, and then apply another coat (not that I've done that, but just saying that it's that good!). 2. If you leave this stuff on for a week or two (again, apply additional coats during the first 2 weeks; I guarantee you the stuff won't chip even on the edges for about a week), once you do finally clean the hardener off of your nails, you can very easily see the positive difference in your nails: they ARE harder; they ARE stronger; they ARE less weak; and they don't peel/break as easily. This Holy Grail nail hardener has some type of magic potion in them that somehow magically treats your nails in such a way that even without the product on them (again, give it a week or two), you can visibly tell that your nails are in much better shape/health than before you used this stuff. After I bought my first bottle, I still had some around so I waited until Black Friday to score an incredible deal on 3 bottles of this stuff. I promise you: I will NEVER use a different nail hardener. This is the one, folks. Again, 60 yo fair haired woman named Karen (I've never been able to get angry my entire life!) and I'm telling you that if you're looking for a nail hardener, you just found it. You're welcome. *Update: Even though I still say this is the Holy Grail of nail hardeners - again, even after 2 weeks of this stuff, you can clean it off and easily see that your nails are visibly harder, less "bendy", and don't peel easily - the only issues I've found is the "bubbling" that occurs (I have no idea why that's happening, but I can see it being annoying for some) and the only other thing is that it's a "use it or you lose it" kind of product. I had used a 1/2 bottle and then stopped using it for about 5 months and when I tried to use it again, it had become so viscous that I couldn't really apply it anymore. Just trying to get it out of the bottle was a pain because it was all sticky and just not useable for my nails anymore. So, that's the only reason I gave it 4 stars. But again, if you're looking for the Holy Grail of nail hardeners, this is the stuff. It will harden your nails while it's on AND after using it for a couple of weeks, I guarantee you that you will see visible results in your nails: they are much, much stronger and well, I'm kinda' back to having those bionic nails I use to have. I can tell that my nails are thicker, very much stronger, and they just don't peel and/or break like they use to without it. Again, use it or you lose it and again, I will never even try another nail hardener because I've tried them all and nothing beats this magical stuff.
