Five Star PBW Tablets - 10 g(1 Tablet Per 1 Gallon of Water) 12ct - Growler, Carboy, Keg Cleaner

I've been using PBW for a long time, ever since I got into brewing. Always used the powder for carboys, etc. But now I've got these handy dandy tablets. Super easy and convenient to a lot of small jobs. My coffee pot and all my thermoses (thermi?) are now spotless and shiny on the inside. Rad.

Got this for my two large coffee thermos bottles, which had loads of caked on stuff inside that I couldn't reach and didnt respond to other efforts. One of these tablets plus some shaking and warm water and 10 min later it was sparkling clean. Couldn't believe how well it worked. I was going to give up and throw the thermos away, so extremely pleased with this.

It does its job for the most part, but not perfectly. Sometimes I have to use a second or even third tablet but for the majority of bottles, i only need one tablet to get a proper clean. I definitely appreciate how easy this are to use though.

Great price for a great product. Sometimes I don't want to measure out anything and dropping a few tablets in is great!

I wish I would have taken before & after pictures! This product is amazing! I used it on an old original Stanley Thermos that is 50 years old & the inside looks like it is brand new now. Incredible! I tried everything over the years to clean this thermos, but nothing worked. I love using it cause it will keep my coffee hot literally all day while outside. It had gotten to the point that is was getting a musty smell no matter how much I tried cleaning it. I heated water on the stove, dropped in 2 PWB tablets, poured in the water, let it sit for 1 hr. & could not believe the gunk that poured out of my thermos. I also had a Yeti coffee mug that after years of use was just permanently black inside no matter what I tried. I dropped in 1 tablet, poured in the heated water, let it sit for an hr with the lid on & it literally looks like I just purchased the mug! Again, wish I would have taken pictures for comparison.

Fun fact: I have no idea what these are meant for and what they’re supposed to do. What I do know now is that they work great in a washing machine to get rid of a bio-funk stank in my rental apartment. I saw “drum cleaning” and ran with it. This was like the 10th product I had tried on top of bleach, vinegar, etc.. in prior attempts to get rid of the stank funk my machine would create when run. I put it in, stopped the cycle when it was full and agitated, let it sit 4 hours, finished the cycle, and then ran an empty cycle to make sure everything was rinsed. It dramatically reduced the funky stank. No other product made any such noticeable improvement.

These worked just fine but I thought the jar would be full…..
