I cannot recommend this book enough! I've read quite a few parenting books over the past year, but this is by far the most practical and useful one I've come across. I even had the opportunity to hear the author speak in person, which made the book's message resonate even more. What sets this book apart is that it doesn't just talk about parenting philosophies; it gives you actual tools and scripts you can use in real-life situations. The strategies are easy to understand and help you implement consequences in a way that makes sense to your child while still teaching responsibility and accountability. One of my favorite concepts is that the goal of parenting isn't simply to control behavior while children are young. Instead, it's about raising responsible, independent teenagers and adults who can make good decisions on their own. This book perfectly aligned with the parenting values I already had but provided practical ways to put those values into action. Since applying the Love and Logic principles, I've felt more confident, empowered, and consistent as a parent. It has helped me focus on building a strong relationship with my child while still setting healthy boundaries and expectations. This is one of those books that every parent should read. I'll definitely be purchasing copies to give as gifts to my parenting friends. It's that good!

Very good book!

Great book works wonders

I have read a lot of parenting books and this is the most useful and practical one I've ever read! It gives you actual things to say and how to execute consequences in a way that makes sense to your child, it also makes the goal of parenting to raise responsible and independent teenagers, not to just control their behavior until you can't anymore and expect your children to make mature choices as adults when you've never let them learn what good choices actually are. Facebook fit perfectly into the parenting convictions and goals I already had, but gave me real tools to execute! I have felt so empowered and More in control since utilizing the practices in this book. The Love and Logic Parenting system makes me feel like I can actually raise teenagers who are responsible and independent, while maintaining a relationship throughout their childhood, not just control and authority. I will be gifting this book to all of my parenting friends 👏
