Are you using the drop and go in place of the oil?

I polish with Rejuvacote 2 and then use the drops that are oil. I do not use anything else. The drops dry nails very quickly. Hope this was helpful.

Can you use this product in gel nails as my uv lamp is very slow

No, this product only works with regular nail polish. I doesn't cure gel.

Once I feel like one coat of my nail polish is dry, should I wipe off the excess?

You could wipe off the excess but I would do it very gently, sometimes the polish can feel dry but if you apply pressure it can leave a mark. When I use this, I put my hand on a paper towel, that absorbs most of the excess. Hope this helps.

does it dry quickly after application?

Yes! I use Rejuvacote (did not get a combo). Dries very quickly. So apply it quickly and evenly, because it does dry very fast.
