I waited to write a review after having it set up for about a month, and what a difference I’ve noticed with my hair. It is so much softer and my scalp feels so much cleaner. I live in New York, and on the filter website it said that there are higher concentrations of sediment in our water - and you can see by the photo I shared that they are definitely filtering ! The setup was so easy, and worked with my original shower head. I noticed that other purchasers said that they noticed worse water pressure, which I think depends on the building/house you live in. Understandably, when you are putting water through a filtration system it inevitably will slow it down, but I personally didn’t have that issue. Per the manufacturer recommendations you can change the sediment filters (shown in my photo) if you notice a decrease in water pressure. The photo I shared is about a month post install. My only complaint would be that the sediment filters are a bit on the pricey side to replace, but for the improvement of the water quality is something I will gladly do. You will not regret purchasing this filter! Review: Amazing for skin and hair!!!! - We have ground water and it stains my hair and shower a reddish orange color. I've tried everything from hard water shampoos to deep treatments. NOTHING WORKED! I even tried expensive shower filters. Some worked for about a day and then became clogged. This one is easy to install and doesn't affect water pressure at all. I don't have itchy skin or dry brittle hair anymore!!! The replacements aren't expensive either. We have high iron and manganese water. This is perfect for our water. I highly recommend it especially for those with eczema, dry skin and hair. ## Features - FITS STANDARD SHOWER FITTINGS: arrives pre-installed with cartridge, sediment guards and thread seal tape; installs in under two minutes with no tools needed; universal fit for fixed, rain, handheld and combo shower heads - MAINTAINS WATER PRESSURE: designed to maintain full water flow throughout its filtration stages - 44% MORE FILTER MEDIA THAN STANDARD SHOWER FILTERS: twice-strength calcium sulfite and coconut shell activated carbon, a higher-grade source, for thorough filtration - BUILT FOR HEAVY SEDIMENT: two easy-access replaceable sediment guards capture large particles and rinse clean in seconds; upgraded leak-free seals - EASY-SWAP SFC500 FILTER CARTRIDGE: no tools needed; lasts 3-6 months depending on your water quality; also compatible with the SFC400 cartridge ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08ND7NL3C | | Best Sellers Rank | #1,621 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #8 in Showerhead Filters | | Color | Nickel | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars (1,883) | | Date First Available | November 13, 2020 | | Finish | Brushed Nickel | | Included Components | User Manual | | Item Package Quantity | 1 | | Item Weight | 1.32 pounds | | Item model number | AB-SF500-BN | | Manufacturer | AquaBliss | | Material | Redox Media, Calcium Sulfite, Activated Carbon | | Part Number | AB-SF500-BN | | Product Dimensions | 3.3 x 3.3 x 4.8 inches | | Special Features | Heavy Duty | | Style | Brushed Nickel | ## Product Details - **Brand:** AquaBliss - **Capacity:** 6 months - **Included Components:** Brushed Nickel AquaBliss Shower Filter - SF500 - **Item Weight:** 0.6 Kilograms - **Material:** Activated Carbon, Carbon Block - **Model Name:** SF500 - **Purification Method:** Activated Carbon, Carbon Block, Sedimentation, Granular Activated Carbon - **Special Feature:** Multi Stage Filtration, NSF certified - **Supported Water TDS Level Maximum (PPM):** 50 - **UPC:** 853161008213 ## Images ![Aquabliss SF500 Daily Essential+ Shower Filter - Brushed Nickel - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51u6mbkSIwL.jpg) ![Aquabliss SF500 Daily Essential+ Shower Filter - Brushed Nickel - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51uElfPyMOL.jpg) ![Aquabliss SF500 Daily Essential+ Shower Filter - Brushed Nickel - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/614d1eSUbdL.jpg) ![Aquabliss SF500 Daily Essential+ Shower Filter - Brushed Nickel - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71y3-s9X06L.jpg) ![Aquabliss SF500 Daily Essential+ Shower Filter - Brushed Nickel - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/611Pg0hJfqL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is this compatible with the sf100 and sf220 filters?** A: SF100 and SF220 are compatible with each other. The Rejuvia HD (SF500) is not compatible with the SF100 and SF220 because the Rejuvia HD (SF500) cartridge is 25% larger and the case is different inside. **Q: Will this remove salt from soft water?** A: There is so little salt left in the water from a softener system that it doesn’t matter. The salt cleans the softener, it doesn’t soften the water. **Q: If the SF220 replacement filter doesn't work fir this model, why does Amazon pair it to purchase together?** A: Only the SFC400/SFC500 replacement cartridges will work on the SF400/SF500 Shower filter models. **Q: What is the minimum pressure needed to use this filter** A: The Uniform Plumbing Code indicates there shall be a minimum of 15 PSI residual pressure, after taking into account friction and other pressure losses. Without a filter, 15 PSI is not an acceptable shower, in my opinion. So the question is very subjective. Some people may feel 30 PSI is acceptable, while others may feel 50 PSI is. 80 PSI is the maximum allowed. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ You need to buy this shower head filter! *by N***N on April 30, 2023* I cannot say enough good things about this filter! They provide everything to install, clear instructions, tape even. only thing is any tool to remove the existing or tighten the filter. Also provide spare filters I believe. The first one I got, twisted it apart to see the filter housing, put it back together, and could never get it to seal in the middle, but not a bad leak. Family loved it, said it was doing an excellent job. They felt a difference in the water (why it got 4 stars). Ordered a water testing kit, there was no difference between the tap water and water from the filter, but I did not order the test with maximum test, Ordered two more, all I did is install them, weird that they leak from the seam also. Overall everyone likes them, getting to the point to replace the filter, will see how it does post that. ## Frequently Bought Together - AquaBliss HEAVY DUTY Shower Filter – Latest Superior Advanced 30x Filtration - Universal Multi-Stage Shower Head Filter Reduces Chemicals, Chlorine & Odors - Brushed Nickel (SF500) - AquaBliss HD Multi Stage Shower Filter Replacement Cartridge for SF400 & SF500-48x Heavy Duty Detox Power.
