One last thing, the author said a few reassuring things that I've never seen in a chemistry book before. Normally everything is so clinical and "you must be perfect", but this author actually says in the instructions "It's okay to make a mistake. If something doesn't work out, you can always go back and change it, and try something else instead." That made me feel less nervous and more confident in my approach to these problems. Highly recommend.

Great for exercises
I needed a little help in Chem class knowing how to do this since my teacher hardly gave us any work and then tested us with really hard problems. If I would have had this book during class I would have been so much more competent.

another handy book to have
This is a good practice book to have- clear explanations, good examples (broken down step by step), exercises start from easy to more difficult- nice progression. Our student now is more comfortable in the chemistry class

A Wonderful Study Guide
Remember in school, when the teacher would hand out copies of pages from books? This is very reminiscent of that time. I really enjoy the problems that are in this book, and it is a big help.
