The viair compressors came highly recommended and this one suitednmy needs perfectly. The compressor does not disappoint and neither did the seller Swastikfabs with their quick delivery. Although my unit was missing the hard copy instruction manual, not a biggie as this can be found online. The unit I purchased hooks onto the car battery and then the led worklight which more or less works as an indicator turns on giving you a kind of go ahead to crank the engine. Once the engine is running the unit is good to do what it does best and fill up tyres. I would recommend giving it a break if pumping up multiple tyres from flat as the unit will run hot. Do compare rate of fills of all the available Viair units before settling on one that fits your needs. The unit is rather silent compared to previous generic comoresors I have used. The provided air hose is a decent lenght(8ft) although I would be pleased if the 6ft extension did not cost as much as it does. Thus far I have been pleased with my purchase and a conversation with Swastikfabs has put me at ease when it comes to after sales support as well and hence I have no issue recommending this compressor or the seller.

Although the hose was too short to reach all of the tires on my car, it's an excellent product. (My fault for not comparing my measurements to the manufacturer's specs). Topped up 3 of my 225/45/18 with 6-10 psi in less than 10 seconds each. Fast and quiet. Will replace with the 88P, that in actual use produces the same perfomance, but with longer cables.

This is one review I didn't want to have to write. I never wanted to be put in a situation where I would have to use this but I'm glad I had this product when I needed it. It's nice and compact with its own carrying case. It uses car battery clips instead of a cigarette lighter for power which I thought might be a problem since my battery is in the trunk. Sure you could just inflate the tire back there but no need, it would reach every tire on my Camry Hybrid. I like the work light and the integrated pressure gauge. And man is it quiet. No insane racket like I've seen with other models. And the hose screws into the tire stem so no need to hold it there while filling. That's a great touch. Overall, an outstanding product. It may not work for larger vehicles as the hose and wires are only so long, but like I said, it worked for my Camry and you can always fill the tire off of the vehicle at least enough to get you back on the road.

I didn't yet start using the product. But the delivery is fantastic. It arrived one day before the scheduled arrival date. The packing is impeccable. And the person at the seller's end is very responsive. I had a few doubts to which he patiently answers promptly every time. And he got one doubt clarified from the manufacturer as well. Hats off. Definitely sturdy and solid than all those sleek, ramp model like portable compressors out there on amazon. Have to see how the product works out. Will update as soon as i have anymore updates. But one thing. Though the company is American, and on the box, it says- 'Manufactured by: Viair, California', the product is 'MADE IN CHINA' (as written on the product). Don't yet drop it from your list. Now a days, everything is made in China. One can't escape this. Even if a product is assembled in your own country, you will have some or the other spares coming in from China. We have some good products from China as well. Let's see how this ends up.

Over the years I have bought a few of Viair's compressors, and they are all still going strong. Anyone who complains about "baby's breath" of puffing air doesn't understand the difference between low volume/high pressure (like this machine) versus high volume/low pressure (your vacuum cleaner or mattress inflator). Great product. Highly recommended. I carry them in my cars and ATV.
