Math Skillbuilders (Grades 2 - 3) (Step Ahead)

I bought this math workbook to help my second grader who was struggling with certain math concepts, and it turned out to be a great investment. She just needed a bit of extra support outside the classroom, so we worked on a page or two each week. I really appreciated how user-friendly and repetitive the exercises were—it helped her build confidence and finally master subtraction and two-digit addition/subtraction. By the end of the school year, not only was she caught up, but she was actually excelling in some areas! I’d highly recommend this book for parents of kids in 1st, 2nd, or even early 3rd grade who need a little extra practice and reinforcement at home.

This workbook has been perfect for my homeschooling kiddo. The lessons are just right — nothing too hard, but also not overwhelming. It’s great to use as a fill-in when we need extra practice without frustration. Simple, effective, and kid-friendly.

Great learning book with several different aspects of math to cover. We haven’t started on this book yet since we’re working on another. This is really good working on an array of math. Great for getting your kids ahead or just practice. I have an upcoming 2nd grader and a lot of this she’s good on so it would be practice to keep her mind fresh!

I purchased this math practice book for my 2nd grader, and it has been a great addition to our learning routine. Each page is designed to be approachable, with clear instructions and plenty of space to write.. The mix of practice problems and fun activities like puzzles and games keeps it interesting. Another bonus is the progression of difficulty. It starts with simpler concepts and gradually builds to more challenging problems, which has boosted my child’s confidence along the way. It’s great for both independent work and parent-guided practice. The only slight downside is that the answer key in the back could be a bit more detailed for parents like me who want to double-check explanations. good book with lots of practice questions.

My 5-year-old great grandson loves math, he is already adding, subtracting, and multiplying. His mother said his loves this math skill builders, he will be starting school this year and we are trying to help get him ready. This learning workbook is helping and we love it.

Awesome book to teach children. Comes with stickers too.

This was exactly what we were looking for. It helped my kiddo with some at home help. She actually asks to work in the book to help boost her math skills.
