I really like this box; it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for. The full length slots hold hooks very well, and the depth of it is perfect for those big poppers and streamers that won’t fit in a conventional fly box. It’s also deep enough to hold most any bass lure that I’ve ever seen. It’s very lightweight, easy to open and seems to be made really well. It’s made in Japan by Gamakatsu, a company that we fishermen all know and respect. I’m very happy with this box; I’ll probably buy a couple more before I’m done. Great box; I give it 5 stars without hesitation.

I used this for a suture demonstration. They were great. Maybe it’s gonna be for my portable tacklebox next.

Holds hooks very securely. Only complaint is the latch doesn’t stay closed very well though I’m confident even if it were to open in my bag all the hooks would stay in place.
