I love how Animal Farm addresses how power can affect even the most idealistic leader. The animals are wanting equality and this movement is lead by the pigs. As the pigs gain power they become more like the human that they revolted against. The use of animals to explore serious political issues allows for an engaging story that really makes you think. Kindle version lacks most basic feature, but it is otherwise good
Two books in one for a great price. Both books should raise red flags regarding how our modern day society works... it worse than when these books were written. The Kindle version needs a little bit of work. It lacks a real TOC. So if you want to read the second book first, you have no clear way to jump to it. When tapping the TOC tab in the menu, you get 3 unlabled enties that all lead to the same page. Normally, kindle books have a TOC that lets you jump to any chapter and any book (if it is a set of books... I've purchased a few multi-book kindle editions).

No idea if the books are any good but they were very precisely and beautifully wrapped, taped and labelled, I regret not taking photos first. Worth the £2.80 P&P cost alone. This actually made my day that there are still people around that take this pride in their work.

An absolute must-read set. Both 1984 and Animal Farm are powerful, thought-provoking, and deeply relevant even today. The way George Orwell portrays power, control, manipulation, and human nature is brilliant. These books make you question society, freedom, and truth in a very impactful way. Simple language, strong message, and unforgettable storytelling. Highly recommended for readers who enjoy meaningful and intelligent literature.
