**Q: What is the difference between the wave and flat brushes?**
A: Wave patterns bristles are designed to increase contact with tooth surfaces between teeth, lifting out plaque even from tough spots. Flat pattern bristles have more filaments contacting the tooth surfaces.

**Q: Are these Boar bristle?**
A: I have no idea.  I just know that I like them very much.  I also ordered the aloe bristle ones and these again to try.  My husband is in his late 70s with receding gums. He uses an electric brush.  I asked him. if he would try these as I feel these clean my teeth better than the electric brush.  I use these brushes, gentle flossing, and a water pik.
