The double sided tape does not hold a puzzle this large to the frame
I purchased this frame for a 1000 piece Star Wars puzzle, because I wanted to put the puzzle together and be able to hang it up on the wall. It seemed like a good idea, since the frame was supposed to be made especially for puzzles. It started out great, I had the cardboard backing to put the puzzle together on. When I finished, I used Modge Podge for several coats on both front and back of the puzzle. Then I glued the puzzle to the cardboard backing. So far, so good. I can't wait to put it in the frame and hang it!. The problem is that the double sided tape that comes already attached to the frame is no where near adequate to keep this puzzle attached to the frame. I peeled the tape backing and stuck the puzzle to the frame, and placed some books around the inner edge to weigh it down. I wanted to let it sit for a day to fully adhere. Before I was even able to hang it up, the puzzle was already detaching from the frame. In some spots thin scraps of the cardboard backing had peeled off and were still stuck to the tape and frame, and other spots the cardboard did not stay attached to the tape. Now I am trying to come up with a way to actually attach the puzzle to this frame, but so far I am not having much luck. It seems I have really wasted my money on this one, because I will probably need to buy a regular frame anyway. But now my puzzle is glued to the cardboard backing, so I don't know if I will even be able to fit it in a regular frame. I would definitely not recommend this product, It did not work for me and I did not have a good experience.

Gets the job done
Definitely got the job done! I wish the cardboard was black in the front and back, that it had a rim, and perhaps it had a glass or plastic front, but without these it made putting the puzzle in fairly simple. All the parts came together and it looks super cute in our home!

Product is ok
I ordered 2 frames for the puzzles that I have already put together. And I would have given them a higher rating, but one of the frames with board came only in a plastic bag. The first pic shows the boxed one, which is perfect for what I need. But the second two shows how the other one was shipped. It had no instructions, was missing the 4" square piece that fits on the back (which I assume is to hold the back piece square while in the frame??? as there were no instructions in the boxed one telling what to do with it.). And a side of the backboard is crushed. I am just going to press it back together, hoping that it does not interfere with the mounting of the puzzle. After reading the reviews here, I see that we are supposed to build the puzzle on the board supplied, but I find it to be ok to glue the front and back of the puzzle before, then spreading glue on the board and mounting the puzzle. We shall see how that turns out. I will update with a pic after I get my first one framed.

You must first work puzzle on board provided!
Well this is a cute idea, and it almost fit a 19.25 x 26.625" puzzle. I had a puzzle assembled and wanted to frame it. I chose this, and it was the wrong choice. You must have this before assembling the puzzle, and you must put the puzzle together on the board provided with this frame kit. After you assemble the puzzle on this board provided with this kit you must provide your own glue brush it heavily, gluing the puzzle to the board provided in this kit (they do not provide the glue) THEN you can follow the instructions provided in the package.Nowhere in the package does it mention that you cannot use this for an already-completed puzzle. Unless, of course you have a puzzle that will stick together and you're able to flip it and keep it together and somehow glue it to the board. It is a one puzzle one frame kit.**You cannot put together the frame and switch out puzzles. The puzzle you want framed, please note must be worked on the board provided in this kit.*** So buy the kit before you do your puzzle.I had to ask a question here after I followed the included instruction sheet. The instruction sheet is not comprehensive enough. It shows you how to snap the pieces together, which I could have done in my sleep, it's quite easy to figure out how that works. Then it tells you to take the gray side of the board, place a small adhesive square in the middle, and then lay it into the frame on top of the adhesive strips inside the frame. I followed all those instructions. ***Nowhere on the sheet does it mention that the puzzle needs to actually be worked on this gray board*** then glued heavily on with brushed liquid glue, THEN dropped inside the frame and pressed against the gray board and the adhesive strips. I had a puzzle that was already assembled, I wanted to frame it, which I never do. That's why I bought this frame, because of the easy assembly which appears to clip around the puzzle in the description. The videos online that I saw after the fact -- when directed by the seller -- show that the puzzle is supposed to be worked on the board. You cannot really work a puzzle then transfer it to the board provided. But the instructions in the product box do not say that SEE PHOTOS ATTACHED.If you already have a finished puzzle, you will have to find a way to flip it onto a board, then flip it into the frame on two double-sided tape that you have provided yourself. That was the only option I had since I had already put together the frame according to the instructions. That meant that my puzzle fell apart, stuck to the double-sided strips, and is basically ruined. The seller/manufacturer needs to update the instructions to inform the person working the puzzle that it must be assembled on top of the board that will be dropped into the frame onto the adhesive strips around the edges.I cannot stress this enough and I know I've reiterated it several times.. this needs to be made clear. It could be a decent enough product if complete instructions were included. Although it's way overpriced. Its flimsy plastic frame isn't the highest quality, but with appropriate instructions about how the puzzle is actually mounted, it would be a worthwhile item at less than half the price. It gives you the impression that you can trade puzzles out. No you cannot. This is for one puzzle. Once it's glued in, you're done. The seller did answer my question quite quickly and point me to a video with the extended information, however the damage had already been done to my puzzle because of their poor instructions included in the package. If you're going to buy it don't work your Puzzle first or prepare to do it again, and watch the video in this description because it has instructions that the box does not contain.

No cover, can never be reopened
"Great for posters" - who hangs a poster (or anything, for that matter) in a frame that has no cover? I guess I assumed that it had one, so after beginning to assemble it immediately I now can't even return this garbage because once you stick the back to the frame, it never comes off (also utterly absurd - what kind of a frame can never be opened?). Even if it didn't have these two problems, the thing is a $5 piece of garbage plastic and particle board, not something that should cost $30.
