Great addition to a low sodium diet!
Looking for a great way to capture that flavor without the sodium? This a great way to add flavor to those dishes in the crock pot!. With very sodium in every packet, it also eases the frustrations for a patient on a strict low sodium diet! This box is cheaper than the grocery store, especially when you buy the larger boxes!

It has a good flavor, but it is totally bland.
I'm on a low sodium diet and low sodium liquid broth is not enjoyable but I always liked Herb-Ox packets for the flavor. It's totally blandm tho. What I like to do with it is to work it into raw meat for meatballs as a powder like a seasoning packet and to cook pasta and veggies in it when made into soup instead of plain water. But it has no salt so it has no flavor--not like we're used to in soup and gravy. It can be a shock to your tastebuds to drink as a broth. It turns out I don't like meat or vegetables or bread unless they have salt in them or on them. This low sodium diet is going to be hard.

Name brand, good product for cooking, lower than grocery store price.
No salt, excellent flavor, very versatile when you need to up the flavor. Works great as a low fat alternative for shrimp scampi as an example. Ingredients top notch, easy to use. Powder.

Herb Ox sodium free bouillon is flavorful
Herb-Ox chicken bouillon (sodium free) is a staple in my house. I use it to flavor soups, stews, sauces, gravies, casseroles, dips and more. The sodium free allows me to enjoy flavorful foods on a low sodium diet. I like to be in control of the amount of sodium in my food. I can feed those on a low sodium diet and the others who can add salt at the table, all at the same time in the same dish! The individual portions are convenient to grab and tear open when needed but stay fresh until needed.
