An interesting Béarnaise
I only ever have Béarnaise sauce with steak. This one has perfect texture and the taste is nearly there. It needs more tarragon to lift it, a bit more egg yolk and a bit less vinegar. I would buy again but would enjoy it more with these changes. Just my opinion.

Try it
I thought the sauce was lovely. I'm a huge fan of Bernaise can't get much now. Waitrose do an own brand one which is very good. Unable to go at the moment thought I would try this one. Very reasonable price. Will definitely be buying again. Flavor is a very personal thing but give it a go .

this is lush, smooth and great with steak

Not much flavour
The texture is very nice, thick and creamy. However, I couldn’t really detect any taste of tarragon, or anything much else for that matter. I much preferred Maille’s version, but since they seem to have discontinued it, this will have to do.

Horrible bearnaise
It doesn't taste at all like bearnaise sauce. Absolutely horrible I have tried it now it is in the bin. Would not recommend to anyone.

Makes a chicken club sandwich
Haven't been about to find bearnaise sauce in the shops for a while now so gave in and paid over the odds for a couple of jars from Amazon. Love the sauce in a chicken club sandwich, I don't get through that much of it and so the extra cost is justifiable, as I told my wife...

Where did all the bearnaise go?
Having not been able to find Bearnaise in any of my local supermarkets recently (I’ve no idea why it’s gone out of fashion as it is the perfect steak sauce!), I decided to suck it up and pay the inflated price on Amazon. This sauce itself is pretty good, although I’d prefer the Maille one I used to be able to buy.
