Saves My Pond!
I use this seasonally for a bit of an unconventional use: sealing the lid on my biological pond filter to make sure it stays completely airtight. I have a homebrew system made out of a five-gallon bucket with a solar-powered 12v pump inside that pipes the water out to a waterfall cascade. Water is drawn into the bucket purely because of the suction this creates inside the hard, rigid walls of the bucket, so for this to work that means the bucket has to be perfectly airtight. The silicone aquarium sealant works -perfectly- for this. I put a small bead around the edge of the screw-on lid (the kind they make for storing grain and pantry goods in such buckets) and when I engage the pump it pulls the sealant slightly down into the threads good and tight. The key is to only screw the lid on until it is barely tight, not very tight. When I want to open up the filter, I simply pull off the sealant from the edges, unscrew the lid, and apply it again when I am ready to close it. It does mean I go through a fair amount of sealant on a yearly basis but it's 100% pure peace of mind knowing that it'll keep our little family pond clean and easy to maintain without having to shell out the many hundreds of dollars for fancy canisters with specialized pumps and filters. One thing to note is that you -do- want gloves on to apply this, but it's not a completely loss if you get some on your skin. This sealant does not burn. I found out to my dismay that the pet store sealant BURNS if you accidentally get some on your skin. This stuff is just a pain to wash off. It is actually easier to get off skin if you let it dry and peel it off afterwards. I have -not- found a way to get it out of my clothing at all once it dries, so don't get it on clothes! My only qualm with this particular sealant is that the price does seem to fluctuate quite a bit. Sometimes getting the three-packs from other listings on Amazon is a better price overall. Still, very much recommended!

Works great on metal framed vintage aquariums.
I wanted to use this silicone sealant on my vintage metal framed fish tank. Easy to use and work with. Once cured there have been no leaks.

As always, aquarium silicone is very expensive
I used this to seal a false bottom drainage pipe in my bioactive vivarium for my crested gecko. In terms of price, you get what you pay for, but I wouldn't say that this 2oz tube is worth 6$ considering the fact you can get a grade 1 silicone tube at Home Depot for around the same price, maybe less. Do your own research, but if it is 100% silicone and Grade 1, it should be good for usage in bioactive vivariums. For aquariums, you might have to do further research. It got the job done, albeit it wasn't the best bang for your buck item, however it was more convenient for me.

works great - if it doesn't it's user error not the products fault
this works just fine exactly like it should. People crack me up if they're having issues it's user error lol. use tape for straight lines remove the tape as you go so it doesn't harden and make sure that everything is super crazy clean before you start. Go online search you a few YouTube videos that show you how to reseal an aquarium tank. also please note not everybody is good at everything so if you're not the type of person with a sturdy hand and a feel for how much you are or are not pushing the silicone down with your finger or if you are not detailed enough to see if you got the tank clean you may not be awesome at this job and that's OK but don't blame the product.

It works!
I use this black silicone glue to secure some glass mosaic ceramic pieces to my terrarium background, as well as some green moss. It turned out perfect. I let it cure in my art room with my HEPA filter turned on, and window open for 2 days until the vinegar meal went away.

I like it.
It's great glue. I used it to stick the hole under the water tank.

Horrible product.
Horrible product. I've resealed MANY tanks, and used many products (usually from the home store, but without additives). Has a small tank to do so I didn't want a large tube and figured this would be easier to get into the space. Broke tank down, removed all the old silicone and masked off the areas I didn't want silicone on (common practice to get straight lines). Added this product as normal and found it has almost 0 working time. As I was working it into the corners it was clumping up, removing tape was pulling the top (already dried area) with it. Tried to smoothen out and... pointless, never seen silicon set up this fast. So, didn't like the finish, didn't trust the seal, and broke the tank back down once dried.... Good thing I did. Even though I applied it to the edges before putting the glass together, using extra inside to "make it pretty", there were gaps in this.... where it WAS applied smoothly and in one pass (IDK how that's even possible). Long story short, IDK if this stuff has a shelf life or is not authentic. But, I will never try it again, the stuff from the home store (type 1 clear) I know lasts and is far easier to work with than this. My opinion, this stuff wont last or look good, so I would (and WILL) avoid.

Cheap effective dry time is long 48 hours. Nice applicator head.
Black good for hydro. Easy to work with must work fast. Used it to seal leaky uniseals on a bucket system. Reusable when cap filled with silicone is stored in alcohol. Tape bottom of tube with duct tape before use to avoid a blowout. Can buy from store but for 7 dollars to get anywhere and back in Toronto, it's worth it to get delivered and pay a little more

An absolute mess and job not done
Shipping was quick but I have to say, no not something I will buy again. It is thick and not easy to get out of the tube, not what I expected. Tube split at the bottom and it made a horrible mess. I had gloves on but this was not what I had hoped for. I may now have an expensive terrarium that is not water tight. Very disappointed. Moving forward I will get a tube of silicone that requires a caulking gun.

Worked well, bigger than I expected.
Sealed my new tank perfectly. Bigger amount than I expected, only used 1/4 of the tube to re-seel my 49 gal. Tank
