Invaluable tool when I had my hip and shoulder replacement surgeries. Worked very well to dress when hampered with one usable arm or trying to reach your ankle to get your socks and shoes on.

Great tool
I had just had shoulder surgery and was in a very constricted sling and needed something to help pull my clothes up and down, since I am able to only use 1 arm. This tool has been great. I'm using it in helping me get my pants down or up daily. I have not had to use the shoe horn because I have some slip on shoes. The hook part is great because you can also tuck it under your shirt on the side to help pull your shirt down in the back and side on the opposite side that you can't use. Also that fact that it screws apart is great it makes it smaller, which is great when you have to go out. The price was also good. It's also very sturdy. The dr said I could drive if it worked with my sling on. I'm a person who hates to not be able to go when I want and things outside of the box. My thought was if I could go somewhere by myself but I had to figure out how to get the car door closed on my own. I took out this tool without the shoehorn part. I thought I would use the white hook part to pull the door closed. I tried it a couple of different ways but it didn't work, so no driving for me until the sling comes off hopefully in a couple more weeks. I also love that it comes with a storage bag.

Great tool
With recent orthopedic surgery and other issues this stick is extremely helpful and I use it many times a day. I do not use the shoe horn portion as it is really too thick to put in a shoe and work correctly. But the other end is 5 stars!

Cool tool
This is very cool tool. I just had knee surgery and it helps having this stick around. It helps me take off pants, socks, and shoes.

Useful after hip revision
Posterior hip revision means no bending at waist past 90 degrees and other restrictions (for up to three months). Wasn’t sure I needed this since I have a grabber, a longhandled shoehorn, and a helpful husband, but the hooks on the end are great for both pulling and pushing on and off yoga pants etc, and the extra length is helpful for hooking/rearranging blankets etc. Since I prefer to do things independently rather than always ask for help, this has been well worth the cost. And the fact it comes apart makes it easy to travel with and to store. Good product!

It works! But it could be better!
The good: 1) It works. 2) The length is invaluable. The bad: 1) The ridge on the hooks is painful in the tight, soft areas of my legs and excruciating on the bony parts (e.g. my ankles). I avoid using the hooks if I can. I think a tapered, flat surface would work. 2) The sections continually unscrew and are a nuisance to tighten.

Works fine.
A solid dressing stick.
