My boys and husband have loved this book

This book looks more like an encyclopedia of information, but because techniques require descriptions and photos, it is a wonderful book for instruction. It is hard to fit everything you need to know into one book, as well as giving detailed instructions and photos as to how to make everything from scratch using only what you find in the wild. The book lists what you need for survival, and what to do when you don't have a kit around. Awesome!

Love this book!

Bought as a gift and he loves it! Lots of pictures, lots of information, but in a very engaging and digestible format. Includes info about building shelter, starting fires, edible plants (and creatures....ick).

Nice picture book, written before the internet era. I remember my library had this book when I was a kid, I was always returning it overdue.

The material covered in this book is very useful. Easily understood and great pictures to go with the material. Love It!
