Tennis Ball Blaster Dog Toy

My dogs and I use this thing daily!! The balls don't last as long as I thought but this is an amazing product. I literally have used this thing daily for weeks now and it functions perfectly!! We love it!!! So much fun! The balls are soft and bouncy just like tennis balls but they squeak and my frenchton can squeak them and chew them!! Its not too big but it shoots so well. You can even cock it at different levels so it Will shoot different distances! So cool 😎 😍

Unless you really need a shorter gun, get the long one. My dog loves this launcher. The sound of cocking it and firing it really sets him off. The first one I had failed, probably because it was left outside and the elements degraded the rubber band. I would have replaced the band, but couldn't find a way to remove the front plastic part on the barrel without destroying it. It doesn't shoot as far as using a manual thrower or even throwing it by hand, but that hasn't been a problem. It is hard for small kids to cock it and pull the trigger, which can lead them to cocking it while having it pointed at their face, which obviously should be avoided. The launcher is so much fun for kids that you should cock it yourself, and then help them pull the trigger if necessary. If you use it at the beach, you will need to rinse it out every few minutes to get the sand out. My only complaint with this toy is the low quality balls that come with it. A regular tennis ball lasts quite a while with my Lab, but the seams in the nerf balls are instantly removed and swallowed. The rest of the ball follows soon after, breaking up into easily swallowed pieces. It is a mystery to me why Nerf would spend the money on making these defective and dangerous balls, when the lowest quality tennis balls would have been vastly superior. The fix is easy: throw the supplied balls away as soon as you open the package and get some of the cheapest regular tennis balls that you can find. I rated this launcher five stars because it is pretty perfect aside from the balls.

Doesn’t lance as far and my dog chewed up the balls pretty quickly but I still like how I can relieve her energy and other our moving around I can sit and watch her play with

This is the 5th nerf gun I have bought for my dog in 8 years. It is used between 15 minutes and two hours a daily. I leave it outside in the weather. The dog nerf guns are amazing. I have shoulder issues and throwing a ball repeatedly for my border collie is an issue. With this nerf gun I can play with my dog for hours. I use tennis balls as the nerf balls are chewed through in less than an hour.

This is the first Amazon review I have ever written, and I have bought hundreds of products on Amazon. I felt strongly about how poor this product was, that I needed to share my story. I was pretty excited to see that Nerf had a dog toy division. I figure they had engineered some toys for dogs that would be very durable and tough. I was wrong. I went out into my backyard and shot this ball gun 3 times, and then it broke. If you look down the barrel, the frame had somehow frayed and was preventing the spring loaded action from going forward. My dog still loved the squeaky ball and she ran around and fetched it each time I threw it. However she destroyed the squeaky part of the ball in 5 minutes, and then 10 minutes later she had chewed a hole in the ball. She can't even destroy a regular tennis ball in 15 minutes. She is not a beast of a dog by any means, she's a 70lb Black Lab/German Shepherd mix. Most squeaky toys last a few days with her, as she is a master of destroying the squeaky parts of the toys I get her. So I was shocked when this "Nerf Dog" ball lasted all of 15-20 minutes. I figured they had found a way to make a better dog toy. I was wrong again. I would not recommend the ball blaster or the balls, as they seem to be of poor quality, that can easily break and/or be destroyed. 1 Star.

If you have a fetch crazy dog, this does the trick! Shoots 40-50 feet. Needs some lube in time, binds up and you may think it's broken - I use cooking spray and wipe it clean. I know it won't hurt my dog. I've shot thousands of balls out of mine until it breaks and I buy another. Will shoot a couple thousand balls before it finally snaps. Well worth 30 bucks

It seems like they don't last very long before the thing won't throw the ball. Anymore, the band inside is harder and harder to pull.Didn't used to be this way, but it's a great toy

If you have a dog that loves tennis balls, you need this toy. I have a 2yo lab who lives for her tennis balls. I finally got one of these and within two minutes of loading up and starting, we were having a blast. She has figued out how to bite the squeakers out of the balls, but aside from that, these are easily the most durable tennis balls we've been able to find for her.

Ya tengo 2 años con ella , me gusta es comida y no pesa mucho , las pelotas que traía no me duraron mucho a mis perros destructores pero les encanta esta pistola, no me ha dado ningún problema de ningún tipo

Les recomiendo mucho este juguete, mi muchacho tiene muchos peluches pero corre un rato con ellos y pierde la atención, pero la pistola lo hace estar alerta esperando el lanzamiento y corre más y hace más ejercicio. Viene con 4 pelotas.

We bought the launcher for my 80 year mother to play with her retriever. She is able to prime the launcher, she does find it tough. She likes how far it launches the tennis ball, much farther than she can throw a ball. The trigger could use some improvement. I have tried it myself and it is a little sticky.
