Eye Charm Eye Lid Tape & Eye Tape for Hooded Eyes (Double-Sided 3mm)-176P)

I've never used any other eyelid tape so I can't really compare it to other products, but I purchased this with the hopes of "permanently" evening out my eyelids as one folds lower than the other, causing it to be smaller than the other. Pros: - It claims to be medical-grade tape and I think this is accurate as it stays on my lid all day, including throughout my workout. - It's invisible since it's clear tape, and covered by your eyelid fold. With natural oils and sweat, the tape turns a white color by the end of the day, but it's hardly noticeable; I only see it when I'm removing it at night to wash my face. - Pretty easy application. The first few times, it will take a few tries but after 2-3 times, I got a pretty good hang of it. - Permanent results?!: I did a bunch of YouTube research and came to the conclusion that if I wear the tape 20 some hours per day for 3 months straight, the fold I create using the tape will likely become permanent. Well, I used it for about 3 days straight (using a new tape in AM and PM with my skincare routine) and didn't use it on the 4th day because the skin looked like it was getting a little bit irritated (as expected since I put tape on my skin for days)... and the new fold I created has since stayed! The new fold is still there despite not having worn the tape in 2 days and have taken a shower, washed my face 3 times! We'll see how long this lasts but I'm very happy with the result. - Good price and decently fast shipping! The 4 pack is going to last me a while, especially since I'm only using it on one eye. And shipping was much faster than expected: it only took 3 days. Cons: - If you have sensitive eyelids/ skin, this may not be optimal for you. I used the tape 3 days and 2 nights in a row and by the end of the 3rd day, I saw that my skin was starting to get a little irritated. - It can be uncomfortable for the eye. First day was the most uncomfortable (especially because I didn't put it on that well) and 2nd and 3rd day weren't so bad but I could tell the tape is there and sometimes my eye would twitch because of it. Maybe over a longer duration of time, my eye will get use to it? How to use: Remove the white tape first, then take the bottom part of the green eye-fork(?) (the pointy part with ridges) and stick it onto one end of the tape. This will allow you to pick up the tape from the clear plastic without using any fingers (which will transfer oils/ dirt/ etc.). I then stick it directly onto my eyelid (this part is a little tricky, especially figuring out where to exactly put it; but it gets easier over time), then use the top part of the green eye-fork and gently poke into my eye socket, right above where I placed the tape, and voila! - you've created a new eyelid fold!

These do not fit rainbow or round Caucasian eyes and are not a solution for hooded lids. They are straight, very thin, and sticky on both sides so extremely difficult to apply. They create an appearance that is scar like as they fuse the skin and on top and bottom in a rumpled way! I wore them out and my friends kept staring at my eyelids in horror. To make it worse I couldn’t get them off when I got home. The takeaway: these are not helpful for aging or hooded lids for rounded eyes.

I tried D-Up as my first purchase because of the popularity of it in Japan. Yes, that product is super adhesive, but it can also start peeling with oily eyelids throughout the day. But MOST OF ALL, I looked for another product because D-Up poked into my eyelid too often throughout the day if not placed in a Precise angle, and honestly why would I pay for something that's painful throughout the day and would require more than a minute of application per eye? That's when I decided to take a leap of faith and try out this. It was afterall, half the price and offered more tape. The best part of this product is that the edges are rounded and super adjustable so you can decide whatever angle eyelid you want. It is adhesive enough to last throughout the day, but if you have oily eyes like me, it will start peeling late day (not too adhesive like D-Up but good enough to last throughout work day). But if you have night plans, oily eye lid no problem. Because it's so easy to apply and adjust, I just take off old one, wipe off the oil, and apply the new one without excruciating pain (where as D-Up ... It'd be bruised red when I try to replace the peeling one. Watch out!) For first timers, I reccommend starting out with this to gain some experience (especially when you're taking on/off tape since you're practicing). For even late time users, if you're looking for good quality painless process, this would be your to-go. I don't have time in the morning, and because it's so flexible, I take a second to slap it on and I'm good throughout the day. The applicator and plastic holder is not my favorite, but managable and replacable. I use the white V tool to use instead and repeated use this product through THIS seller. (Other variations of this product is much more expensive offering the same quantity and quality. Be smart about it. 7.90 and it'll last you for 3 months since it gives you 4x.) Overall, late review, but I have been buying it 3x consecutively and price+quality has always been right.

This eyelid tape from Korea is effective and does make my eyes bigger. I like that the tape is double-sided for a more natural look. The tape, once in place, is invisible. The size of the tape is slightly fatter than other brands I've tried which gives a better crease. The tool that comes in the packet is made of cheap, badly-cast plastic that is lumpy and hurts to use on the delicate eye area. I prefer to use my pointed metal tweezers as a tool. Also, other brands (Japanese) give you a free hard plastic case to store the sheets in, but this brand does not. Getting the tape in the correct place on your eyelid requires some practice in the beginning. Once you get used to it, you will be able to apply it easily and quickly like in the demo video, but be aware there is a learning curve.

I unintentionally purchased this "recommendation" by amazon, because the original item was no longer available. Just my preference, but its not wide enough and half as sticky as the previous one I purchased that i loved.

I’ve used many different eyelid tapes, but this is my first time trying double eyelid tape and I vastly prefer it! Unlike single sided tape (which was visible when I closed my eyes and made eye makeup difficult), double eyelid tape creates a new fold, so the tape is hidden underneath. I can apply makeup normally with no tape in the way. I know some people say double-sided tape can be harsher on the delicate eye area, but I don’t wear it every day or overnight. I also only use it on one eye, since only my left eye is hooded and I’m just trying to match it to the right. Honestly, I’m not sure how people wear these for days at a time. Mine comes off when I wash my face at night. That said, it does stay on all day, even with my oily eyelids. There is a bit of a learning curve since it’s sticky on both sides, but even when I don’t apply it perfectly, my eyelid still looks noticeably better than before. Overall, these have been fantastic.

I bought these because I wanted to enhance my double eyelid. ive used the single sided adhesion ones for years and tried the double sided for the first time These were so hard to work with. Since they're double sided, they come with a top layer of paper separated down the middle that you have to remove - similar to how bandaids work. Oh my goodness - the little papers went everywhere. You will have little slivers of paper all over your bathroom. Then removing the tape from the paper backing wasnt easy. Then putting it on your eyelid was not easy. I never use the tool included but i had to use it this time because of how tacky the paper is. I guess some will love that the paper is so tacky but for me, it was so uncomfortable My eyelashes got stuck on them, which was a bit painful to remove Then the actual look of the double sided tape - to be honest, they just made my top eyelid too heavier. That's ultimately my reason for returning I would not recommend this product.

These are terrible, they do not work. The adhesive is not strong enough to even stay on your eyelid. Waste of money.

Value for money, very good glued property

Didn’t know what to expect from these, but surprisingly they’re really good? Perfect width and not hard to use. I’ve had experience with double sided eye tapes before and yes they are hard to use in the beginning and irritating, but after a week or so it gets easier! Stay persistent :)

An Item which cannot be returned then why not give us proper product which we order.... I have completely received such an item which is not even worth half the price ....

At first it’s very hard to use but once you get the hang of it they’re very good
