PlayStation 3 500 GB Super Slim System (Renewed)

I was a bit worried about buying a used console because I usually buy them new, so I made sure to order one that was listed in Excellent condition and from a seller with good reviews. It got to me faster than the expected delivery time, and when I opened it up it was such a relief! It looks like new, and so does the controller. I got it hooked up right away and have been playing it for almost 2 weeks, and it works perfectly. If I didn’t know it was renewed I would never have guessed. So happy to have this system so I can play all my favorite classic games! Very happy with the experience, great seller!

DOESN'T WORK. Who grades these? Do you even check to see if the games play?This was definitely not "excellent condition". As soon as I opened it, I saw the stretches all over the bottom of the console. Banged up unit. Was hoping it was only cosmetic. Nope. Got error messages right away. "System is corrupt, restoring itself" seems to be the screen it likes to get stuck on the most. Even tried following the "Amazon troubleshooting tips." Nothing. Doesn't restore anything. See pics. ZERO STARS.

Arrived in perfect condition and plays games just fine and even can connect to Playstation network. Just one thing, it came with a off-brand controller but the controller works just like a real one so no qualms .

Good Solid Gaming Equipment. The only issue I had was a bad power cable - which I have many. Keeping this one as a backup PS3.

I was looking to play some games that remain locked to the PS3, and this was the right choice. System showed up quickly and I was amazed at how clean it was, inside and out. A few scuffs and scratches, but it’s 13 years old so that’s expected. Mine came with a genuine DS3, so that was an unexpected surprise. System runs great, everything works perfectly so no complaints. Happy with the choice to buy it from here.

Bought this for nostalgia so I could play some old ps3 games I had in storage from my younger years. System works well but the controller that came with it does not work very well, very cheap feeling and was hoping for at least a used oem dualshock 3 to come included for the 180 bucks spent. Ended up ordering an authentic sony controller to replace the one that was included.

Should have an option for zero stars. Item arrived late (it was a gift), and the menu won’t move past the “select language” screen. Tried everything. From a factory reboot to a backup files option. It’s just a very expensive piece of junk that was supposed to be a very special gift. Too expensive to be a big dumb paperweight. Came scratched, as well. -10/10. Do better. What am I supposed to do with a console that doesn’t work?!

The PS3 came in quickly. It’s missing two rubber feet on the bottom but that’s no big issue to me. Besides that there’s nothing wrong with my PS3. It was a bit dusty but hey it’s old technology. I just took some isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber cloth and wiped it down good as new. I’m very happy with my PS3. The controller that came with my system was a generic one but it was brand new. I am happy with my purchase. 5 stars!
