My husband and I went on a trip and we drove separately. We bought these Walkie Talkies to be able to communicate with each other. They worked great. The range was perfect. It was very clear to hear each other.. Great purchase.

Works great with the kids. Easy to use, very quick response when transmitting and receiving. Previous set of inexpensive units took almost 1/2 second to connect; these respond quickly. Only issue is the advertised 32 mile max range. That would have to be in free space or in the middle of an ocean or sea, or from a two mile high peak. High power mode is 1.5 watts and that stretches out to 2-3 miles on a good day in the real world.

32 mile range. no way. Half mile...yes. I use it at work in a warehouse atmosphere the size of 2 football fields and it works great. I live 4 miles from work and cannot hear anything at all from home. Super clear reception. I recharge them after every 2 days of fulltime use which would be roughly 20 hours run time. They may go longer without charging. Very durable and can take 4 foot drops all day long. Kids use them in the fields with the voice activated feature which is nice. 5 stars for value, function and durability. 1 star for range.

They have a good range, can be heard loud and clear, great quality, look nice

these walkie talkies range is not 32 miles. it is more like 2 blocks. I have brought these companies products before, and I was happy with the purchase this was very disappointing as it was highly recommended. Lucky I was able to return these within the 30-day return period.

So they work as you would expect. Battery life with real rechargeable batteries is great. I didn't try the included ones because they're 850mah (that's what you'd expect from AAA, not AA) and replaced them with eneloops. I got at least two days without turning the unit off. Charge time was pretty long, but the built-in charger is trickle so that's to be expected. What was really annoying, and the reason why I would not buy again is the push to talk switch is just too hard to push. You really have to use the tip of your finger to reliably push it, and it resulted in lost communications just about every conversation. Borderline unusable, really. The range is what is to be expected. We were using these car to car and if we could see the other car (even as a spec on the horizon) we could communicate, but hills and curves in forested areas were a problem. I knew this from past experience, and it's just real life with these kinds of radios. The menu system and changing channels etc. all worked ok, but these days there's so few people using them that even on a two week road trip we never had to change channels.

Well made. Compact. Bought these for our family camping trip where there is no cell service. They work great. Kids love 'em.

Range all depends on terrain, buildings, trees, etc. I did a test with my daughter and was a mile away and they worked excellent! Further than that, up to 3 miles, she could hear me, but i couldn't hear her. We have mountains and buildings all around us, so i wasn't surprised. I basically purchased so we could use in areas where there was no cell phone service...camping, events etc. Weather alert modes and the LED flashlight are an added bonus. So, these will fit the bill perfectly! Also, the units are very rugged and waterproof. Before ordering, make sure you read....the distance they transmit is based on so many factors....don't expect to talk from 32 miles away...that's absurd....that's a best case scenario. If you want that distance, spend 5x more. The people saying they are hard to set up, are clueless. These were super easy to set up....*hint*, read the manual!!! Totally satisfied!

Testei, em 5km já ficou sem sinal. Até 200mt funciona bem, não tem manual em português. Bem difícil fazer a programação sem manual no idioma português . O vendedor não respondeu sobre o manual.

Easy to set up and use but limited range sometimes among our Devon hills and hollows. Excellent value for money, sound quality good.
