They’re Nylon so there’s an upper temperature limit as compared to metal. They’re plastic so they are an electrical insulator. Metal ties are generally stronger but less flexible. What is your intended use? **Q: Are they suitable for PV use?** A: I have used them for PV for a number of years now, they seem to hold up well! **Q: Are these "Reusable" ?** A: They are not made with a release mechanism built into them, so no they are not sold as reusable. But, if you have a tiny screwdriver you typically can lift the metal locking tongue and release them.
