I have a 14 mo that I want to teach colors to. Would this be an appropriate product if supervised closely? Or are the pieces too small? Thank you.

Some of the items in this set are very small and a child would need careful supervision to use them. However Learning Resources has another color sorting set called Farmers' Market Color sorting set ...the pieces in this are much larger but the set stores easily in the box it comes in. My 15 month old granddaughter has fun playing with them....hopes this helps.
